Nits Gupta well, my research shows that Russia has less Su-35s than US has F-22s. So, not much fear to go around there. Western pilots are also far better trained than Russian ones.
@@sharpstriker1559 well the Russian fleet is comparitively older and has seen more senior pilots. Sure the f 22, f35 are exceptional fighters, but the su 35 is a class behind, being a 4.5 gen. There's no match for a fifth gen fighter, hence we have to see what we're comparing what to.

1st of all dear we haven't lost Jet. Cz there are no proofs.Pakistan's side has clearly shown the world wreckages of Indian Jets but India has nothin to show.
2ndly, dear it's not about Machines only it's about how you use them. I've no second opinion and i admit that Su 30 is far better thn Thunder. But Indian pilot was not competent enough to kill Thunder while Hassan Siddiqi was competent enough to kill Su 30.
So Machines are useless until you've experience to use it. 🙂

Jhony Ariyana ... LOL, the Soviets designed the SU-27 to be big, fast and very agile to take on the F-15’s that the Israelis were using to decimate older Soviet jets. Ok, that makes sense but at the same time, they designed the R-73 IR missile. With a 20 km range, it was fast, could be fired 40 degrees off bore, it’s IR seeker wasn’t fooled by flares and it had thrust vectoring, giving it the ability to make 50 G turns! With a helmet mounted sight, the pilot only had to look at the other fighter and fire ... dogfight over! When the German Air Force inherited these R-73’s from E Germany, they were astonished ... MiG 29’s armed with them were unbeatable in mock dogfights. So the US countered with stealth, the F-35 has a helmet mounted sight paired with a AIM-9X: 30 km range, a planar array IR seeker, Mach 2.5 speed, thrust vectoring. Yes the SU-30 is very agile but they are still held back by a pilot able to only withstand 9 G’s vs a 9X missile that can make 50 G turns? The new 9X block lll due out in 2022, is smaller, faster and has a BVR of 50 km and can be launched without lock on in a 360 degree arc! Sure the SU-30 can defeat an F-35 in a dogfight which is why it won’t get into a dogfight ... it will simply detect and launch its 9X missiles long before the 20 km range R-73 is close enough!
So as I said ... why did the Soviets design such an agile fighter along with an even faster, more agile missile that could so easily kill it!??
@@JimCOsd55 In theory, the Missile can make 50Gs turn but the lock is not perfect, and things like Supermanueverbility can break the lock.
Also remember that 50Gs turn at mach 3 is NOT a very tight turn, enough to turn with an Su-35 going mach .8 at most.
That said, Russian jets have a clear advantage when it comes to dogfighting with American jets
Outgunned Unicum ... back when IR missiles didn’t have all aspect seeker heads, a pilot as in Top Gun, Maverick had to get in position behind Jester’s plane for his IR seeker to lock on. If you were a very good pilot and had agile fighter, it was easier to prevent an IR lock or to even break it by suddenly diving away. Also those IR missiles only saw a hot spot that was the exhaust and so could be fooled with flares, this only gave them about a 15% chance of scoring a hit. Today’s all aspect seeker head can see the entire plane and will even target the cockpit, rather then just go for the hottest spot! There was a time that pilots dreamed of getting into a real, one on one dog fight, when it was skill against skill. With today’s helmet mounted sights, in a close up mock dogfight, pilots now call it MAD: mutual assured destruction, since the only real skill you need is to fire as soon as you see your target! And since the other pilot is similarly armed ... he still has time to return fire before the missile strikes his fighter!??

The thing about Russian fighter jets is that, they aren't the most technologically superior, nor are they the most pilot friendly, but they sure are extremely reliable, low maintenance, high performance, and absolutely hell-raising beast machines.
su30 is evrything but low maintenance and avionics are good
No actually they have perfect sensor fusion, QWIPD , IRST, several radars, IFF, The ranges of the radars of these jets are twice of anything the west has. They have multimode radars, hypersonic weapons. Powerful Strike Capabilities, I would not say the are not technological enough but also not perfect. There are problems like sometimes the RWR does not work unless yo turn it on, in which case it is hard to do. Radars need maintenance.

Most aircrafts built by Russia was mostly contributed by the Soviet Design Bureaus demand of producing aircraft on a large scale like the MiG-21 or MiG 29 which were largely exported aircrafts.
When the Soviet Union fell the transition from Soviet Desgin philosophy didnt change much and still remains as "If we can built lots of them, then it doesnt matter"

@@muhammadaudinasir trust me when I say this..the caste system problem is real and is acknowledged by everyone from the president to a sewage worker..you don't have to show us our " ignorant problem" we are well aware of our problems..and no I was not actually asking you to come and help..we can do without your fake concern or "help"..it was a rhetorical. And there are about 3-5 percent of brahmin in this country..there is wierd logic prevalent in the world that Brahmins are filthy rich..they are not...it's the merchants or businessman who have the money. Oh and don't go around equating indian govt = Brahmins, Kshatriyas.. the president of our country comes from traditionally considered lower caste and the prime minister is from OBC (other backward castes)..and both of them has risen to their respective positions not by reservation or quota but by their hardwork and merit.. be honest with yourself you really don't give a shit about any indian be it poor, oppressed, suffering or in misery..you have some half baked knowledge about India and you use that as a basis to pass comments on things that you don't understand and more importantly things that you don't care..but well it's the internet and you have you are free to comment on anything you like so..ta ta 😐
