Spend a day with me at Google Office! Enjoy free food, ice creams, and all the cool perks. 🍩🍹 Curious about how Big Tech design web/app? Check out my first product at Aliena Design LLC: fasttrackux.com 🚀 Did I get a UX design position at Google? Nope, I don't work for Google. My partner does, and I'm here as a guest. Among all the tech offices I've visited, Google's office is at the top. It's so wholesome that all the dots connected. My channel grew because of the Google UX Certificates, then I got interviewed and rejected by Google, then moved to Seattle because my partner got an engineering position at Google, and then I began coming to the Google office every other week to enjoy some office perks.
Big congrats on launching and iterating your course!! It's one I've got my eye on for sure - particularly for the content about what happens in the big meetings, how to handle discussions etc. I found your channel recently and I'm loving all your content. I've got a book rec that will help you with the next steps of your business (specifically learning to delegate, putting a team together and managing them) and that's Traction by Gino Wickman. It gives you step by step instructions for so many processes that will be new to you, and implementing/following them from the beginning will just set you up for more success later down the line :)
Love these kind of vlogs! Really enjoyed this one! 🤩Well, I actually love all of your videos :) Btw, the new design of Fast Track UX looks amazing! Congratulations on your hard work, I have no doubt you will be able to do everything you have set your mind to. I feel so lucky to be one of your students 🥰 big hug
Thank you so much! I'm honored to guide you on your design journey ✨ See you in the platform, and DM you through the platform whenever you need help & feedback ✨
Ohhh, beyond skills and projects, it takes luck and timing too! Tech companies often hires and fires in batch. But we can't estimate the right timing. So, many people get in once a new batch opens up (e.g., they build a new office or something.) There are also many other great companies to apply for other than Google 🙌
@@AlienaCai I am dropping the Google UX Design course and instead saving that money to take your course. I went over the curriculum and I think I stand a higher chance breaking into the UX Design sphere with what that course offers. It seems more structured for someone like me who feels lost taking the Google UX course.
