I wish that Discovery+ would replicate this with the 90 day couples. Let it be academic like this show and not edited for needless drama.

So glad your reacting to Couples Therapy again! Mau can be a challenging person, but as you learn more about his past, you'll understand why he is the way he is.

I've experienced a different version of the pets in therapy issue. The therapist knew I had a dog and encouraged me to bring him with me to session (she never gave me any reason for it, just encouraged me to do it). I did bring him once but found having him there was too distracting. She kept bringing this up at subsequent sessions until I finally told her I didn't want to.

My therapist does online sessions with me and her dogs interrupt our flow once or twice a session. I think she may have noticed it bothers me because it's been less frequent recently, but anyway, it is indeed so hard to imagine getting up the gumption to say anything about it.

I didn't realize a couples therapist could have one-on-one sessions with the individuals to explain relevant details of the therapy itself. Should the request for that come from the couple themselves or can the therapist suggest that?

Dr. Honda - please consider talking about the Netflix series Maid and how it portrays emotional abuse, bipolar disorder and addiction.

For some reason, I always imagine exactly how I'd word things in the situations where you give an example of how someone (therapist, husband, wife, etc.) would say something.

I find this series to be so much more captivating than the 90 Days crap. It's a shame you don't give it nearly as much attention.

I have to say if i booked an appointment with a new therapist, showed up, and there was a cat, i'd just walk out. :D I'm deadly afraid of cats, and there's no way i could do

I'm late to the show and your reviews but both have been FANTASTIC to watch. Thank you

My dentists office has an emotional support dog that if requested you can have lay on your lap while getting a procedure. It's the best thing ever! And they even have a sign at the reception desk letting you know.
