Great work Ganesh ! Small tip i'd like to add is to squeeze the hoses as you pour the new coolant. It will help eradicate air from the cooling system. The thermostat valve has a air bleed valve. As you squeeze the hoses the coolant is pushed in and at the top radiator cap you can see the air bubbles

I really appreciate it. 😊 As regards parts for the Zen, Maruti has nearly stopped all the parts but whatever is stashed away in some random corner of some MGP store’s warehouse can be traced using their system. If you approach them with the part number, they can search and see if it’s there somewhere. As for Carburettor, get it from KPACCO, New Delhi. Amar is the contact person, +91 95995 57487
10:44 I just want to let you know that the vacuum check valve for the hot restart system in your carburetor is installed incorrectly. The black side should be the inlet, and the red side should face the hot restart actuator (diaphragm).
Thank you Brittos, I’ve checked. The black side is indeed the inlet side and red side the outlet. The tubing on the outlet side (red) is longer and giving an impression that I’ve connected it the other way.

Hi Jomon, please check with your local mechanics and spare parts shop. Very hard to get nowadays. Complete carburettor assembly is available from KPACO. Contact Mr Amarnath Sharma - 95995 57487.
Good detailed video mate, but might I suggest not to rinse the cleaning agents or other corrosive agents down your bathroom drain for environmental reasons. Plus this might act as incriminating evidence if the municipal corporation stumbles upon it. It was commendable what you did with the coolant by putting it back in the empty water jugs.
Can you explain the use of the thermostat switch here ? Aren't these thermostats supposed to automatically open when the operating temperature is reached ?
You’re right about the thermostat. The thermostat switch turns on the cooling fan behind the radiator when the coolant temperature crosses a threshold.

Thanks. I’m wondering where else could one wash this condenser coil without letting it drain this way. Do you have some ideas?
@@GaneshBalan That's a good question, maybe wash it in one of those containers like the ones we have for collecting oil or something similar.
