I currently have my 17 Hyundai Elantra that just turned 98.000 miles, 0 issues, 0 repairs! In june of 21, i bought the K5 GT LINE with premium package. Just turned 22.000 miles, love it. No issues.

    Looks great on the outside but the inside is basic. No ac vents in the back. They should have added led lights on the inside. Give it a vibe.

    • @MattTheCarguy
      @MattTheCarguy  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      I'd love to see vents in the back for sure. As far as the interior itself i think it is onevof the best in its class. Honda, Toyota, Nissan or Mazda dont even come closr

    I don't understand what's up with KIA. I have a 2022 KIA Forte GT, which has the same engine as this K5, but mine puts out 201 hp. My car weights slightly over 3,000 lbs. The K5 is 2 to 3 hundred pounds heavier, but KIA tunes the engine to put out 180 hp. No reason whatsoever for this stupidity. This KONA which also has the same engine puts out 195.

    • @MattTheCarguy
      @MattTheCarguy  2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      True, but thats why they have the 2.5 T in K5 GT and 2.0T in Kona N for the "performance" line

    • @e.l.4019
      @e.l.4019 2 ปีที่แล้ว +3

      I totally agree. I have a 2018 Elantra sport with the 201hp. If Kia put this same engine in the K5 Gt line, I would upgrade. It boils down to having bragging rights for the most fuel-efficient model.

      Such an old remark. Ive owned 4 Korean cars starting in 2005, put over 100.000 miles on each one, no fires. Please explain why I didn't have an engine fire.......

    • @MattTheCarguy
      @MattTheCarguy  ปีที่แล้ว

      @@johnfranklin5277 I spoke with many mechanics regarding this and many other issues and MOST of them were because of neglect and not doing the maintenance. If you don't take care of the car it wont take care of you. My mother in law has 2011 Tucson and my brother in law has 2014 Tucson with about 150k miles. No fire on either one.
