Always been a buyer of RedWing boots which are getting higher than nuts on a giraffe.
First time I’ve ever heard of those boots. Give them 6 months and do another review of them.
Good morning Steve. I have a 50 year history with Redwing. Lately I bought a pair of their lesser grade Irish Setters which are disappointing.

I’ve been wearing Redwings for at least 25 years. The pair I wear (4215) are close to $260 but made in Redwing, MN.
I take int insole out and replace them with Pedag branded ones I get from my chiropractor.

Had a pair of bates boots great for the first two years so I am trying a pair Ariats . So far a month in and the have been great .

I used to get Red Wing's from Sam's on East Genesee Hill.
It's a gel insert they put in there for support, it's supposed to help your back.
The one thing that really gets me is where does your veggies and fruit come from? We do our best to just get the stuff grown in the US. Why do we have to get food from Mexico, Indonesia, or any other country? While I didn’t farm for a living I have grown up in farming communities. Let’s support local instead of foreign countries. I did work on grape farms in WNY growing up.

My brother wears a size 14 Brunt he likes those best mainly because they make footwear that fits his 'flipper feet ". I have been trying Hisea after MikeP's evaluation and they are pretty nice. Kinda liking them. Call me a weirdo, I still prefer milking cows with my Adidas. They are much more forgiving in a stanchion barn. Big storms coming in Wisconsin so they say. I hope you can pound out lots of acres you just know the rain always comes when the planting is ideal.

Dam, grumpy, I kinda wish someone would send me a pair of work boots 😉 . I've been wearing Red Wings for the last 20 years probably, seem to fit me well, takes a week to get them broke in and I usually wear the heels off first followed by the leather over the steel toe 😢and they've cost me $240 for the last pair 😢
As a commercial plumber on concrete all day' the best bootz i'vr ever worn are made by Michelin!. that's right they make bootz too! lasted over 10 yrs and the most comfortable! and one more thing... I am grateful this isn't smell-a-vision! Ha! good on ya!

I too used to Dairy. Quality degraded in my go-to brand, so I found an even better brand. Not much difference in price. I wore the same brand and style for almost 20 years, in absolute comfort, 2 years wear each pair. That brand was bought out and they discontinued my style of lace up work shoes. I gave up, and went to the Big Dog brand name in work shoes, and even though they aren't Made in USA, they aren't chinese, either. Getting good service out of em, but weren't cheap. When I put my shoes on in the morning, I don't want failure before I take them off at night.
Well if your feet are happy at the end of the day your 100%. Finding comfortable shoes is difficult. If your happy i say GOOD ON YOU.❤😊

It's difficult to find a decent work boot that doesn't break my feet in instead of the other way around. Being able to walk a mile plus directly out of the box without foot issues. Well that puts them on my radar. Definitely going to look into buying a pair.
About 4 hrs a day is all i can do on equipment, brush hogged about 6 yesterday back killing me

I’m the same with my boots as I am with my jeans, comfortable and hold up. Ariat jeans are my go to. Around $40-50 a pair. I’m sure they are not made in the USA but I have looked at a few brands of Made in the US jeans. I’m not going to pay the price, $70-100 bucks for any jeans let alone ones that’s gonna get grease and oil on them the first day. When I was a kid there was a local factory that made jeans. Dakota jeans was the brand. Not the highest paying place of employment but the jeans were on the lower end of the sales rack, probably Wal Mart or K Mart sold them. So why can’t the US produce affordable products now?
I did a Hisea review a few years ago. Wore them a week over 3 videos. I didn’t spend a lot of time talking about the boots. But I did say worth the money, $60 bucks. Not as comfortable as I usually wear but not as pricey as I usually wear.
I've been meaning to pick up a new pair of work shoes/boots, so this review is timely! Sad that they are made in China; but like you say, good luck finding much that isn't.

Sometimeshe has a limited run of boots he guarantees for life, they have a problem, even just wear, send them back and he refurbishes them. Only thing, not cheap

I may try these. I bought a pair of Danners (made in USA) a month ago, and they're still not broken in. $280 for boots that feel stiff as concrete blocks.
Nothing is made in America anymore. Red Wings,Chippewa. I hope those work out for you I might get a pair myself.

I was expecting to see Vevor started making work boots! 😹 Those boots they sent look decent. My long time name brand work shoes have that heel cushion too. The rubbing at the ankles prevents me from wearing many brands of work shoes. I’d like to try a pair of those you have there.

@TheGrumpyFarmer I find most foot wear that claim there water proof are only water proof for so long then it starts Looseing that water proof seal.
I don't think it matters what brand you get q.a. standards have dropped everywhere.
Even at ll bean where my wife works But at least she argues with product development to try to get a better quietly boot and not just push them through the line

The warranty is intriguing; however I tend to gravitate toward American made products myself. Currently trying Thorogood🇺🇸🇺🇸. Yes they are significantly more expensive, but I like putting my money right back into the homeland. Those boots you got there look pretty dang comfortable, and I'm interested to see how the warranty works out. Hope planting is going well; should be a good year.

Grumpy Farmer this comes from a registered nurse 5yrs ago when my wife had health issues. She said to have 2 two pairs and you rotate them don't wear the same shoe everyday because you just break them down

Not sure I told her to send me 9 1/2 wide I assume that’s what I got. If not, they’re still very comfortable and I hope to finish corn tomorrow and get started on beans tomorrow.
