THANK YOU for being the first vlogger I've seen to finally explain how park hoppers work. We were wondering if, once you hopped to your second park after 1pm, you would be able to go back to the first park or not. Now we know!!
I've been made aware of a little hack for multi-day tickets. If one of the days you want is OUTSIDE of the 60 day window, you can still book the first day. 2 day ticket for example, book the first day you want and the day BEFORE the first day. Then come back tomorrow, cancel the placeholder day you don't and book the new 2nd day. Video to follow on FreshBakedPresents. ALSO CORRECTION: There are tiered park hoppers. I conflated a previous situation where previously purchased park hoppers, pre-covid, were all given tier 5 status when making reservations today.
If one wants to buy tickets for a trip in September they would buy the tickets and make a reservation for a random date currently available now. Then immediately cancel the reservation and book the reservation for September when it becomes available?
I know I’m not the only one who asked for help in this matter, but I personally appreciate the video. I did finally figure out what was going on, but this video did help a lot. Hoping to go on my birthday in August. I also like the fact that I’m not the only guy in his 50s this till let’s go to Disneyland.
I wish they'd extend the calendar out to 90 days so I can start planning a trip! I don't want to book my flight and hotel only to find out I can't get the park days I want so I'm at a standstill. I am really looking forward to heading back to Disneyland!
They currently have it at 120days but we got a flight and hotel for the month after that so I'm hoping we can get tickets for the days we plan or well forks
@@Douglas-1994 Yes I did but I was able to get it at the 7am time slot and it was opening weekend. I think things are going to be more competitive now with capacity increased.
This is much better! Happy they streamlined it. I guess being out of state does have a perk, after all, we didn't have to deal with the previous confusion. They are getting all the bugs out while we anxiously wait. 😆
I bought tickets at get away travel and have link them to my disney account. I live in Washington State and am waiting to see my daughter Becky who works at disney and haven't seen her since her accident. Hope hope it opens so I can see her.

If you purchase your multi day ticket from a 3rd party such as Undercover Tourist or Get Away Today, and then link to your Disney Account, you could then book your Park Pass Reservations one day at a time as they become available instead of waiting until all of your days are available.
@@Cutelatinguy2 Often cheaper! They usually have discounted tickets that are equally valid. We purchased 3 day "hoppers" from UC in 2019 for what became a cancelled trip, & planned to use them in 2020. STILL waiting! Aiming to use them in Nov. 2021, assuming all circumstances support doing so. Good news is that the discounted price we paid then is even more value now, since it was discounted based on the 2019 prices, not the increased 2020 prices announced just prior to the shutdowns. Hopefully, we'll be able to go before they now expire in Dec. 2021! ;-)

Part of me wishes they would just open up the reservations through the end of the year, like Disneyworld. We already have our Disney world reservations for next May.

what is the purpose of the reservation? not sure I did it right, I have a theme park reservation confirmation number but am I suppose to have a QR code for that ? I also have two tickets with QR codes, and ticket confirmation numbers
You actually can buy a two day ticket and reserve the day’s separately if one of the days you want to go is not available on the calendar yet! I bought a two day ticket a week ago, planning to use them July 10th and July 17th, at the time of my purchase I made my first reservation for July 10th, and then I had to wait a week for July 17th to open up on the calendar, and I just made my July 17th reservation today! ☺️ great video though David! Big fan of you guys! ❤️
I believe this features is new to the system as of last night. I had done the same myself, booking only one day of a two day ticket. but as of today, new purchases, it doesn't seem like you can do this.
Just make sure you get there before it opens . I followed the parking suggestions by Fresh Baked and parked at Anaheim Garden Walk and it helped a lot . Parked at 7:35 (completely empty) walked over off of Harbor entrance and lined up 7:55. they let us in the park at 8:30 and we were on a ride by 8:55. I’ve been a pass holder for years and years but have never gone before the gates open . To me…. It was the only and best way to get your value for your money. We were on 4 big rides before 10a.
Since they appear to be stripping us of the ability of going to the park for a few hours after work, my only hope is that they allow us to reschedule reservations if we don’t get ROTR boarding passes. I would hate to spend a small fortune on one day and not be able to ride that ride.
I seen other videos and I was scared that I didn’t do a reservation like they had said but this helps me calm down cuz it does the ticket and reservation at the same time if I’m not mistaken
I bought my ticket on Friday 5/21 and after I bought the ticket i received an email that I need to make a reservation but when clicking the link it says that the park had reached its reservation capacity. Anyone else run into that issue? Why would I be able to purchase a ticket for a specific date if I couldn't also make a reservation?
The calendar just shows you the ticket pricing so you’re aware of which type of ticket you’ll need to purchase. For example, if you want to go on the weekend, tickets are the most expensive so you’ll have to buy the most expensive ticket. It’s not a reservation. You have to make the reservation separately.
@Olivia Imroze I just spoke to an agent and was told that as long as you buy the tickets on the Disney website and chose a reservation date before checking out, you’re set.
Same here, been checking since around 10. They just changed the wording on the page from "Temporarily Closed" to whatever date the particular restaurant was set to open.
So with how it was done previously, I am able to change reservations and my tickets are good until January 2023 (just in case out of state guests are not allowed for the dates we chose). I am assuming that is still the case, unless those tickets are directly tied to those dates and you can't make changes. I guess the best way to check is to go in after the tickets are purchased and dates selected and see if you can make changes. I'm guessing Disney wouldn't be THAT restrictive, would they?
We have just been through the hurdle of booking ticket purchase booking reservations ugh was first going end of April now after finding reservations for Disneyland we had to change to first week of may - it’s frustrating and annoying as if we were trying to go during our holidays here is Australia it wouldn’t happen but thankfully we are going after changing dates - it’s a pain wish they’d go back to older version

Yes you can! But you’ll have to make sure there is still reservation availability that day for park hoppers since you’ll need to make a new reservation

Is the age of the ticket 10+ the kind for adults? So the ticket is on one window and then the reservation is the next window and the parking is the next window?
They are still individual reservations though correct? So for example you could reserve a Thursday and Friday, to lock in that first Friday, then cancel the Thursday and change it to the following Friday once it becomes available. Doesn't seem like a necessary strategy at the moment but sounds possible.

With multi day pass, Can you change your reservation days after booking? If so, do you have to change them all, or could you change one or two days while keeping one or more as they are so you don’t lose the days you don’t want to change?

Yes you can! You can cancel any reservation, then the ticket becomes free and you can make another reservation with it. I did this when tickets first opened as I accidentally booked the wrong park!! XD

I'm a bit surprised that even later next month there are still reservations for DCA but not really any for Disneyland. Seems like even with the Marvel area opening more people want to go to Disneyland. There is probably still many people (myself included) that have never been to Galaxies Edge so that likely is part of it as well.
When all is said and done...and things get back to normal.....what used to be called a "Premium" AP, likely will cost well over $2,000, wouldn't you say?!

This is the same thing DVC-ers do. What a hassle, but I guess that's what we're stuck with.
Yeah, I was gonna say......I purchased a single day park hopper ticket for June 24th the day after tickets went on sale. And it was a Tier 4 ticket.

I think you’re wrong about all park hoppers being tier 5. I purchased a tier 2 park hopper.

When was this filmed? I think capacity has already gone up. I just got tickets for May 29 but in this video it said it was unavailable
People cancel their reservations so availability probably opened up on that day
A week ago June 16th was sold out then 2 days ago it was available so i got a ticket can’t wait for avengers campus! are they allowing more people in?
