“We are complacent in being inactive-and we sit in that complacency even though we’re not very happy there cuz it’s what we’re use to.” Holy shit I personally resonated with this so hard.
It’s so easy to just.. stay in your bubble and avoid confrontation cuz of the possibility of embarrassing oneself. But how can we grow without risk or that exploration outside our bubble?? Me literally commenting this is filling me with anxiety cuz I don’t like putting myself out there (I like to lurk lol), but it’s such an important thing to recognize that our insecurities will only cause our growth to stagnate.
Take baby steps. We’re all learning :)

Been in a few relationships and thought the same about being happy. Then I discovered I am happy all by myself and I love helping others. I get more joy from friendships than living with someone. You have a great view on happiness and definitely comes from within. I find great happiness in God.

I think your point of actually talking to someone is the best advice ever. A lot of people let shyness or fear of rejection get the best of them.

A lot of us kings are single out here. It’s ok to focus on yourself for awhile, being in a relationship isn’t always beneficial.
i had a boyfriend during the peak of the pandemic last year and it wound up not working out bc we didn't get to see each other very often bc of said pandemic. i think i'm a good person and according to your checklist i seem to be. the patience thing is the only thing i have problems with bc i just want a guy to appreciate me lol :( i've met a few people from my job that i'm interested in and hoping at least something will work out with the advice you gave. i've always been the one to give relationship advice to my friends but rarely have been the one to take advice but now i think i'm gonna take it. thank you for this video cap, as always you knock it out of the park. :) youre a true gem
