- India will get new criminal laws starting 1st July. The new codes will replace colonial-era Indian Penal Code, Code of Criminal Procedure and Indian Evidence Act. The government says the new version will help shed colonial linkages. But several constitutional experts have raised concerns.

If they do any anti national activities then it will apply on them too. Modi n Amit shah won’t be in power for life. Someday another government will come n find reasons to persecute them. Nothing new though. In 2010, cBI put Amit Shah( who was a Gujarat minister l) in jail when congress was in power! Even Supreme Court had called CBI ‘a caged parrot’ under Congress rule.
Why can you explain why?
In the banana republic India no new laws are going to be implemented, there will be confusion, and find violation of fundamental rights by big courts and finally the new law will rest in cupboard. Unless you train the cops working on grounds w.r.t new laws, it just remains on paper. New laws indeed to push hard the pending decade old cases in court, unless right from filing FIR, submitting chargesheet, arguments and hearing judgement is time bounded, nothing seems effective on ground.
we welcome the new laws at the same time india national language is not only HINDI, it will be difficult for the south indians to pronounce the new law code , it will be better the the code name should be given in all regional langaues if it not , it should be in english so that not only india the whole world can understand
