Hey Gladys I´m glad you liked it! They sure are very active, the cubs are out and about as you could see in the last clip, I spent about 40 min watching the cubs foraging and collecting bedding materials - the other day! :D hope you´re having a great day!
What a lovely video Andy. Great footage and some really nice stills images. Thank you for sharing. These poor animals are really persecuted here in England. Many thousands are culled each year 😢😢and there is just about zero evidence to show it's helping to reduce bovine TB.
Thank you so much Trevor, truely appreciate it ! So I´ve heard, I´m following badgerstrust on Instagram and they are talking alot about this I also think you have alot of urban badgers over there which makes people more nervous... but you´re right. In sweden the last recorded case of TB with tame animals/cows was in 1978...
Thank you so much! It’s always mixed feelings when uploading a video without a story, glad you liked it! Sometimes they are a bit more nervous than others, yesterday I had 6 out and about at the same time including 2 cubs but they didnt care the slightest ! 😅
@Andy Gustavsson Don't worry, they are the story. I know how much work goes into getting closer to mammals without interfering with their routine.. Keep them coming!
Thank you! So I´ve been told and I think the location of the sett definitely comes into play (remote/urban, forest/field etc) but I´m just guessing! I´ve monitized 3 setts and all show some activity during mid day, adult as well as cubs during late may - early august.
Nice one Andy - I really enjoyed this :) I was supposed to be at a badger set last night (or tonight) but I have a really annoying cough and so I think I will have to wait until I am confident I won't scare the badgers away!!!
Wow! I haven't been so lucky. I know three location where they live but they go out only during a night.😢 Anyway I've got beautiful videos of them on my trail camera. Watch some of the videos please. Unfortunately, my trail camera has been stolen so it seems like I am done with it.😢
Thank you! Yes they can be quite hard to spot during when it’s still bright out, I’m very fortunate with these badgers! 😊🙏 You’ll have to invest in more trailcameras, there are some cheap ones out there which still produces good quality footage 😊
Fantastic. Thank you. All the best. 👍📷😎
Thank you Tom! 🙏😊
Lovely Andy, so relaxing and some cracking footage! I shall sleep well tonight, good work mate 👍
Thank you so much Richard, glad you liked it! =)
The best experience you can have. Amazing mate. Cheers Keith
Thank you so much Keith! 😃🙏
Hi Andy, what an awesome video of the badgers! It's not often you see them Inn daylight. I've enjoyed it very much! Greetings from Amsterdam

Badges are protected here in Switzerland. How could this beautiful creature be considered as a nuisance ?!
@@Cervin_Suisse really? I wonder the same, they are great for cultivating the ground and planting new seedlings and ofcourse they are so cute!
Some great footage and stills there. Such an endearing mammal, and so tentative before committing on exiting the sett!

Wonderful Andy! Over here in the Netherlands, badger seldomly emerge before 8 p.m. usually around 9.30 in May to August.

@AndyGustavsson oops, I meant to write p.m. so evening. 😬 Yes, the more remote locations seem to show more daytime activity
@@TimsWildlife haha I figured as much! :)

Tack Ulf! Väntar spänt på din nästa film!
