I don't know about which element I am concerned the most. Maybe earth bending? And on that note , I wonder how would they show Toph and later Aang's seizmic sense. Without a way to portray it, new audiences would be confused on how Toph sense movement.
Earth bending is definitely the hardest, we never see it represented in live action movies because its literally the earth, how do you control it? Air and Water would be the easiest and although fire is really expensive, it is still done multiple times.
Just a wild note: Aang was already an airbending master at the age of 12. Did you forget that the tattoos showed that the airbender was already an airbending master? Aang was a prodigy amongst the air nomads. The airbending ball thingy was his idea. He was the youngest airbending in all of history. Why it seems that the airbending in Legend of Korra seems more powerful is because Aang was the only airbender in the series, and that he rarely used airbending aggressively. In LOK, there were multiple airbenders already and Tenzin was the only one who had mastery of airbending while the others just used it aggressively, since it was a teaching to air nomads that you must not use airbending for unnecessary violence and that you don't attack a defenseless person.
Thanks for contributing! It sounds like you are saying the airbending is of equal value in both seasons but not to ignore Aang's awesomeness. Is that correct?
I don't really understand how they could mess up the bending in the movie that much. They literally do have the choreography of every bending form in the series already! So at least the movements shouldn't be that hard, just need to be learnt. The animations on the other hand...yeah, that'll be hard. But I guess you just try to stick close to the series with what it should look like and then it's fine. Right? I'm really curious how they will make it happen. This series isn't really a piece of cake for real life animations, that's for sure, but if they can work it out, it's a recipe for success. Can't wait for it!!!
Then you will have a live action Lion king, which was frame for frame of the animated movie and people hated it. Some tweaks have to be made. No one likes replicas.
@@kathycookie15 totally agree. I see a lot of people saying "they should change nothing at all" but if you just wanna watch ATLA just..... go watch ATLA. That's the biggest problem with the Disney remakes, they're just less interesting versions of the original movies with little effort to make them unique on their own and not just be remembered as lame copies. I think they can do something really good with this one tho since ATLA has a good story to work with and try different things, even more now that we have a lot of information about the Avatar universe. Do I believe they're gonna do that? Absolutely not, but I mean, in the darkest times hope is something you give yourself right? We'll have to just wait and see
4:36 Waterbenders can bend blood at full moon so I would like to see that cheating because it is rare already. (Except Legend of Korra ruined that plot like many other things )
I would be very disappointed if (ice) surfing will not be included. Off course it is difficult but it is what makes water enders more swift compared to for instance earth benders.
The reason why air bending was more powerful in korra was because they brought back the entire air nation. We were use to seeing one type of air bending style, Aang’s. That’s all we really knew besides little clips of his past. When Aang had kids that alone opened the door to more air bending style techniques. Each bender is different, just look at Tenzion’s 3 kids (he has four but I don’t recall the youngest air bending in the show. He was young) I do like seeing passed down techniques like when we first see Tenzion in the opening for Korra and he’s doing a move Aang taught him But as you watch the show, even Tenzon’s son Melio fart bends 😅
Will the effect and graphics ,visuals cgi technology in live action ever be like animation where do can do anything only limit will be creativity and imagination could happen this 2024 or2025 or 2034
U know video game movie are getting better and how comic book movies got better will the same happen to live action remakes and live action adaptions of cartoons animation anime
AI is going to awesomely change technology very quickly here (in fact it already is) for all industries, but especially video cgi. If you look up AI stuff it is already changing movies and video games, it's just more behind the scenes right now. So yes, I believe this will happen in the next 10 years, but it's always silly to guess beforehand because things change so much and so fast we don't really know what technology will be like in the 10 years.

@@lightningbeast4556 It will change the technology to be able to do cgi better, cheaper, faster as well as do new things we haven't thought before. VR to help directors see the shots and film in VR. AR to see effects while you're filmming (like the Mandalorian sets are examples of using AR/VR technology). Better cameras, better 3d software, etc. I like to think in the next several years (like 10 or more) we will get sequels to old movies where it looks like the old characters (like a young luke skywalker in a new star wars movie).

That is such a good insight! That is a big portion of her bending. I hope Netflix is taking notes from us here.

Probably do it how they did it in daredevil movie or show

Well said! Can’t wait to see what they are cooking up for the series. Should be unexpected but expected at the same time...
If firebenders needed torches to bend they would be the weakest I mean you dont just find fire.
LOL. Right!
4:39 "It might show up for one episode for a crazy twist." Like yea man the bloodbended bodies are having a crazy twist too.
Lol! I wish I thought of that pun earlier.
All they have to do is make make it exactly the same as the original series and nothing will go wrong
A lot of respect for the original is definitely required!

Do you think they should keep the tattoos? Not having them could save a lot of money.
Netflix has enough money I hope there willing to spend it
Good point, the frugal filmmaker in me is thinking that they need to keep it low for season 1. It ain’t no walking dead (100 zombies a day make up).

I assume brian and mike wanted to spend money 💰 for the sake of the show being good and Netflix wanted to make a cash grap and spend less money
Yep, I wish we knew what they are up to now. Maybe the series is trying to get them back, and they have delayed production... again.
Bending will only work if there are no cuts in fight scenes just for fight scenes they can use long shots and with high quality vfx
Tattoos are necessary
Yes, I agree. It will cost extra time, but it's too important for the story (and the fans).
