When I read the title of this video, at first I was a bit skeptical with the comparison between the two series. I watched Arcane recently as it was recommended to me by a friend. After finishing it, I felt a little off bc tbh I didn't understand the plot like everyone else did so that influenced my view of the show. But the awesome characters and the beautiful animation definitely made up for that. After finishing your video I have to say that I definitely now understand how both ATLA and Arcane are quite similar. It even made me appreciate Arcane more and take back some little judgements I initially had about it. I enjoyed this short video essay very much! Your commentary and pacing were impeccable.
