This is so cool if only this was at my school!!! I love visiting Fragbox, whenever I go it’s always such a great experience especially when the workers including Tia are extremely friendly. Hoping to go back soon!
Starting a 15 Nano in my English classroom, gotta show Science teachers in my school what´s up. Would love to see a follow up video and see how this tank is holding up...
@@fragboxcorals oh that’s awesome, thanks so much! Excited to test out that random flow generator!! And I think I had also ordered a Flipper Float - I love the new floating ones.
Great Video March! Love that ur supporting the local school and letting the kids see such a cool hobby in their classroom! 👊🥰 ~Jason JakeDogg is in at the vets today, getting taken care of coz he has an enlarged prostate that’s been bothering him the last couple days 😞❤️ he’ll watch the video when he’s home tonight, or tomorrow tho 😉❤️
I been running my 10 gallon reef with tap water for almost 18 months, 10-18 TDS from the tap. Nothing special mostly softies and some LPS, trying out SPS but they quickly let me know they don't like it. I use prime too!
Part of the issue is that minerals can build up, especially iron or lead from the pipes and slowly build up to unsafe levels. Send a sample for water testing to see if anything dangerous is building up, unless I'm mistaken it can also skew your testing on things like salinity or nitrite. You might be lucky and your local water is just fine so it's very much a you decision. That being said, I kept a freshwater tank growing up and aside from the initial fill of it we only used tap water on our rare water changes.
@@KMCA779 I do want to try an ICP test soon and see what's in my tap water alone and compared to an ICP test of the tank. All my freshwater tanks use tap water, keeping a lot of wild South America and blackwater asian fishes. They breed in my tap. Now that doesn't mean much for reef tanks, but I definitely want to look into it!
Hey March, you keep mentioning that there are reef casa tanks available in Milwaukee. Im a local and I've called a few LFS' with no luck..where can I find the ReefCasa tanks in Wisconsin??
Does anyone know what happened to Aaron’s aquariums? He hasn’t uploaded in two years and his Instagram is gone. Was really enjoying his sea evo videos.
I mean , I mean it ,you are the most work hard fish store owner in TH-cam !! Respect!!!
A reef tank is perfect for a biology class. There is so much life in reef tanks. You can find new things every day for years!

Wow, great to see a singular clown school!
my school was full of clowns... we didn't have a fish tank though.
@@KMCA779 Too funny - I wasn't "Fishing" for a joke, but got a good one! We should stop clowning around, but...
What size tank is this?

Hey Julio !! Tell them march from Fragbox sent you over

Maybe Coral glue should be included in the kit? Hint! hint! nudge! nudge!
When you add the nem can you take time to teach how to do it please?
What tapppp? I will try this out
That glass is gonna be so scratched in the first week. You won't be able to see in in about 6 months from scratches. Hopefully we get updates.
I would tell them not to spray Windex on the tank by the way, it will end up in the tank.

Hi March, I’m in the GTA and have a little flame tip anemone that I could donate for this tank.
Can I get a lid for my 24 gallon Reef casa made????
i used tap water in the beggining until i couldnt beat red cyano.... some can get away with it, some cannot.
Take that scraper out! I left my in and my 4 year old got a bunch of sand in it and scratched all the glass. 😥
#TheBombDiggity this is a great "series"
Tia is in the thumbnail but not the video, this should be punished to the full extent of TH-cam law. 😂
Will the clown be getting a partner once shes bigger?
It's crazy just how bad your advice is lmao
