I’ve always been fascinated with “magic” and the mystical, but I’m a scientist by profession. One of the main reasons I pursued science was to understand the Truth better. Obviously I ended up with far more questions than answers, but as I’ve learned the accepted foundational knowledge of the physical world, I’ve found myself feeling closer and closer to the mystical and spiritual. Like what learning science did for me most, was helped me understand where that gap is. Beautiful video, you’ve gained a fan.

I would recommend looking into Erik Hoel (systems theorist) and his work on causal emergence, and the similar work that is being done in systems biology and quantum biology, then come back to my expositions of Whitehead, Bergson and Sheldrake.
Science came to an enormous wall following WWII, and noone in academia has been willing to make the moves needed to surmount that wall - and those that have suggested those moves have been either ignored or ridiculed.
That stance is gradually shifting however, and there are many signs from many different fields which suggest that a major transformation is already underway in how we think about nature.

My grandad was a Native American, and at his funeral there were singers with their drums singing the funeral song. When they started singing, an eagle flew over a nearby hill and started circling overhead. It continued circling until the song was done, at which point it flew out of sight towards the mountains. Aside from the obvious, this was significant for several personal reasons which I won't go into now. Suffice it to say that I have yet to witness something so beautiful again. To me, that's what truly cemented the fact that there is more than just physical reality.

First, pay attention to all the little highly unlikely events that take place all around you. Something as simple as tossing a bottle into the trash, only for it to land perfectly upright upon the trash.
Second, pay attention to your own consciousness. Observe its workings, and then ask what it is that's observing the observer. Do this, and you'll eventually come to realize the truth behind consciousness. Which is, again, something that is literally incapable of being described.
Regardless of your beliefs, doing these two things will enrich your life.
Also, thank you for your condolences. I am not the type, nor was my grandad, to get offended because you don't believe something that's plainly obvious to me. I only hope that you and those you love live long and fulfilling lives.

    • @TheCube101
      @TheCube101 5 หลายเดือนก่อน +4

@@spracketskooch ive come to believe that consciousness is more of a result. And things you notice that are unlikely happen because it's statistically inevitable. So much is happening on Earth.
Consciousness is a thing that people don't talk about with a solid definition. I think of it as being able to interpret yourself (this is where you get a sense of self from). It's fully dependent on physical 'you' -- if your brain stops, so do you. Your self is just a bunch of neurons firing a certain way.
I don't need metaphysical pseudo-science to explain the world around me. I have actual science, of which I can use to understand myself.

    • @spracketskooch
      @spracketskooch 5 หลายเดือนก่อน

@@TheCube101 That's not how statistics work, my friend.
Might that be because there is no solid definition of consciousness? You still haven't defined what this "you" is. Even if it's all within the brain, the "you" phenomenon still needs to be defined and explained. It's not enough to claim it's an emergent property of neurons firing. You still need to explain exactly how that happens if you want to make that claim with such certainty.
You actually do need metaphysics to explain reality at its most fundamental levels. Regardless of which philosophical line you're pursuing, one _must_ posit the existence of something eternal, an uncaused cause, a brute fact, something which exists without depending on the existence of something else. There is literally no way around it. To be mean and arrogant, you simply aren't in the race, you're about seven chapters behind, you haven't begun to think about asking the right questions.
Look up Godel's incompleteness theorem if you want to understand why any formal, logical system, including the scientific method, cannot prove every claim within the bounds of that system. Basically, there are true statements that cannot be proven to be true within the bounds of the scientific method. Come back when you realize there are things, true things, beyond the realm of materialistic science. Until then, you have proven yourself lacking in the depth of your thought, hence not worth my time.

This one's a banger, I'm gonna have to watch multiple times. Great stuff!
Just to throw my yarn out there in case some of it knits in, I've been saying forever that WORDS, both written and spoken, but especially spoken, are literal magic, and most people are just really bad spellcasters.
Words are a direct key to involuntarily conjuring thoughts, images, and most importantly, emotions into the minds of other beings, even non-human ones, that become sensitive to our incantations.
When a person studies body language, rhetoric, and psychology, and has control over their own minds and emotions, they become a spell caster.
The self-control wrought through meditation becomes a form of "anti-magic" shield wherein you become resistant or even immune to spells cast by others.
Through proper control of one's tone, posture, facial expressions, word choice, and most importantly, timing of when to say something, you can manipulate individuals into EITHER positive or negative actions. I've become so proficient at this, I'm constantly told I could be a cult leader. Fortunately for everyone else I'm too lazy and introverted to even want to micro manage people, let alone do it. That said, in my personal life, I'm pretty damn good at getting people to do what I want. Also, Fortunately, I'm a Buddhist, and consciously commit my power to serving "good." In the past few months I got my overweight friend to start losing weight, another to go to the doctor for a neurological issue he was avoiding dealing with, and taught my niece to not be afraid of pain in the pursuit of skill.
A more illustrative example was just a few days ago. We have a public square near the cafes in town, and two 12 year old boys were throwing around the pieces of a Giant Chess set (2ft tall pieces) the town put out, potentially breaking them. I was annoyed, and saw literally no other adults even caring and I wasn't having it.
From about 100 yards away across the parking lot, I summoned my most masculine energy, aimed my finger at the boys and delivered a "HEY!!!" while staring them down. Everyone of the dozens of people froze, including my wife who had no clue what was coming, and the boys.
For a second the world hung on my pointing finger, their eyes wide, until one of them meekly waved at me. Now here's where the real magic happened.
I dropped the dangerous masculin aspect, and allowed the trickerster energy to flow in, and I smiled, waved, and did some really goofy arm wiggles and laughed. The boys laughed, everyone else was immediately back to calm, and the boys STARTED PUTTING THE PIECES BACK IN THEIR PROPER PLACES.
All I did was yell Hey, do a goofy dance, and went and bought my coffee. I saw the boys shortly after riding their bikes looking very curiously for me in the Cafe, and i could sense both anticipation and admiration in their eyes.
There's a very good chance that one moment just permanently sculpted their behavioral fates.
Words are literal magic, if delivered exactly correctly, and in harmonious flow with the moment.
Negative magic exists too. For instance I could call someone the N word if I wanted to enrage them, however, like all the stories say, negative magic often has negative consequences for the caster. I would put all manner of well delivered lies and harmful manipulation here as well, which also carry dire consequences for the caster if the ensorcelment is broken.

every cell contains the complete memory - seed of life, experience - activated with specific resonance. Our ancestors are within us, and if our realm gets to a resonance as a whole that these seeds are recalled, what potential would be opened within us? That, to me, would be “ascension”.

    • @Presuppositonal_Libertarianism

I'd disagree. I think the unifying force of the world is logos, and that provides the foundation of universals (the one) that then also exist as really separate, really distinct, instantiations within the material realm of many forms of these ones. Making phenomena an emergent or specific property of matter is still just materialism, it's reducing everything to materialism creating the fallacy of monism.
Logos is like the metaness of which things must be built upon. Logos is the interpretative system about interpretative systems, devoid of any content but the basis of any content. It like provides all the potentia of shapes possible for a given interpretive system, it's very nature is all the potentia of these shapes, but any given shape is a specific interpretive system and therefore a drop in the ocean of logos; but that doesn't make it identical or the same as any other interpretive system. Divisions and distinctions aren't illusions, but the very consequence of the basis of reality aka logos. So as long as you hold yourself to logos whilst accepting your innate telos justified via the law of identity, then you've maximised your 'resonance' with logos and achieved 'ascension'.

As a lifelong artist, I have come to understand a "little" bit about the spiritual world. I spent years practicing the known and taught fundamentals of good art. I was getting nowhere with what I knew I wanted to communicate. I spent years thinking, "well if I do this and this I can get there." The result were great paintings that I hated just a few months later. Yet I noticed when I totally let go of thinking, I could create something that would stand the test of time. The problem, I could not stay in the spirit mode for very long. After many years of struggling with this, I concluded that I really need to "severely concentrate " on staying into the spirit of things. It is not haphazardly throwing color and shapes about. It is about connecting and staying connected with a world outside of this world that we were taught socially to believe exists. Yes it exists but only as purpose. I believe there exists a far more vibrant world that exists outside of our socially created world. That we can sometimes tap into both accidentally or purposely. The on going problem is working with this spirit world while having the survival necessity to stay in this socially created existence. Ounce you work with it enough, you will understand how much larger and greater the real world is and what we normally function in day to day is very tiny in comparison, only meant for survival and reproduction purpose. Again, to gain a little more knowledge you must "severely concentrate" often. Religion and science will not get you very far. For they were only created for our survival and procreation. By the way, they were and still are very successful in creating this minimal existence of causing our prolonged survival, procreation and pleasantries.

I'm really relating to the experience you had at 15-16 years old. I had a similar type situation where, in my off campus housing I had at Rutgers, I heard the chanting of my name. I was 20 years old. I heard this in my living room and high fidelity sounds alone but yet of great sounds many people and my name.. this was the first time I heard voices little bit later I was able to hear my highschool therapist in my bushes like a on going speaker giving me therapy from outside my house window. So I ended up in the psych ward and having to take medicine to keep me from having the voices. So the voices started in my living room that summer of 1984. While I was studying music at Rutgers. I still hear voices to this day and the dr's have never been able to stop my voices.. but I am okay after decades of the medication.. I still take. @@intellectually_lazy To some degree maybe. But ultimately I think that viewpoint is myopic and doesn't capture the full spectrum of things that these people have accomplished. To this day there are Shaivists who refer back to Blavatsky's teachings in their satsangs and dharma talks, and Tibetan yoginis who speak at the Theosophical society. I think it's more apt to say that people like Blavatsky and Leadbetter laid an infrastructure for esotericism to exist in the west in their flawed ways, and that has been a huge advantage to many of the Hindu and Buddhist faiths at times. Indeed they were responsible for even causing some notable Indians to take a closer look at the Veds and other texts. So like all conversations involving "cultural diffusion", the real truth is somewhere between the poles we often hear. Ultimately, I think the west needs esotericism like a drowning person needs air, and to that end, Blavatsky and co have been crucial.

Hi since you shared an experience I'll share one of many. I was about 16 living in my mothers house. In the late morning I was cooking fried eggs on an electric range, in a teflon coated pan, with a spatula with a plastic base and plastic handle attached to a straight, flat steel body. I tuned off the stove, put the eggs on a plate, put the spatula on the pan, put the pan on an unheated burner, and turned to the fridge for ketchup. In about 5 seconds I had the ketchup and had turned around to face the stove. In that interval, the metal body of the spatula deformed severely to follow the surface it was on. Flat in the pan, following up the curve, then down sharp to meet the stovetop, then straight across. Like a clock in a Dali painting. It was not hot. Nothing else happened then and eventually, when I recovered myself, I bent it back into a useable shape and put it in the drawer.
I was sober, in sound mind, and it was a sunny morning.

A few years ago I suddenly started to feel the presence of a different entity within me...
There was a strong desire for what I can only describe as indeed a shaman.
Not only did it want to make its presence felt but also its voice HEARD.
I have been meditating for years now and I have really learned the importance of appreciation and positive thinking.
In my quest to free myself from the outcome of a trauma, when the shaman entity appears through me..
I start to resonate with my true feelings again (of which I am trying to return to after having felt disconnected from by physical body).
When I sing with the shaman voice, it does something to my body that it seems to somehow recognize and it starts to heal.
When you started speaking about the shamans, I got instant goosebumps.
I have also felt some kind of knowing for years now, of being able to fly, teleport, walk on water and transform myself.
I don't see the world as obstacles but as opportunities for expression and simply fun.
Playing with the idea of reality, as I might be an idea myself.
I think I am capable of all those things but that I have not allowed myself to live that knowledge.
I have heard of an idea that suggests that an energy source (which we might all come from)
could have created everything from its own imagination ? Fascinating thought.
    Anyway..
Here is another thing I have contemplated but something wants me to tell it as truth/fact:
I think that IF Jesus was real and the ideas about him and his abilities are true

Awesome video. I am a person who believes telepathy is a real thing in daily life, with many anecdotes of it's occurrence. I have been fascinated with learning about and practicing shamanism and spirituality since I was 14. With what you said about giants, it reminded me of my own experience with Sasquatch in WA state in 2021. One night I was thinking about the existence of said beings, and they ended up coming to the back of my apartment where it's wooded with a creek, to watch me on the balcony while they ate cherries off trees at the woodline. It's almost as if I manifested an encounter with them by thinking about them and truly believing they were real without any prior personal experiences. As we interacted over many months, I found out they are spiritual beings, not in the sense they are non-physical but that they hold psychic and spiritual abilities and phenomenon that modern science just cannot explain. Many people who see and interact with Sasquatch claim they can mind-speak. This is true... they transferred thoughts, feelings and emotions, and visions directly to me and it was so powerful it was staggering. They would react and interact with me based on my own current feelings and thoughts, like mind readers. They also demonstrated infrasound, which essentially felt like an invisible laser or energy beam that they shoot directly from the center of their forehead at you, that causes instant dread, momentary freezing and a feeling of imminent death in its victims. After one particular encounter, they sent me a vision of three Sasquatch beings' faces merging into one, with a thought transfer of how they are triplets that are spiritually merged into one united being. I could tell when they were outside based on how it felt, they emit some kind of pressure that you need not any evidence for to have a knowing from your intuition of their presence, that they later confirm physically once you initiate contact. Not even to mention their extreme lung capacity, weight, strength and power; which they made very abundantly clear by snapping trees, stomping, hyperventilating huge breaths, and ripping up thorny thickets with ease. Many more things happened that signal to a spiritual nature, that I can't get into in a comment. They showed me much compassion, intelligence, and empathy, more than the majority of humans I have ever met. Those encounters have changed my life and perspective forever. Now if I tell people of my truth, of a reality that happened when completely sober and of sound mind, they think I am crazy because their ability to learn and intake new information outside the bounds of what they were told, is completely shut off. Many parts of our reality are non-physical. I am a knower of that truth but I understand why people have such a deep rooted skepticism of spiritual non-physicality. It can be tough to wrap your mind around if you've not had any supernatural/paranormal events in your life and are told reality is strictly physical and explainable. With the framework you laid out here, I believe it applies very well to my weird life experiences, in that the indigenous Sasquatch clans make use of the non-physical in a shamanistic way that protects and aids them, much to the surprise of humans that run into them thinking they would basically be big monkeys.

I had an insanely vivid dream of a Sasquatch this summer. The feeling of dread and imminent death was absolutely instantaneous and overwhelming as you've described. I felt as though every single hair on my body was on end, like a cat. I woke myself in a start after realizing I was dreaming, and I didn't have the chance to "commune" beyond that. It all happened in the span of a few seconds. Maybe worth noting that there was also a self-driving van in that dream. Or more accurately a van that was being driven by some kind of force beyond my comprehension. Thanks for sharing, I hadn't considered the possibility that my encounter with an astral Sasquatch might have yielded different insight if I had been in a different state of mind going in to the experience.

@@mistergray9664 Thank you for sharing as well! I've had countless dreams of the beings as well that are all hypervivid compared to my typical dreams, since I was a child. Before I ever knew what they were. Sometimes in the dreams they would be pacing me in the woods while I rode my bike. This is typical behavior from them in person as well. I truly believe they can be so called 'dream-eaters' that can project frequencies or images into your head through walls, inserting themselves into your subconscious while you're sleeping. It sounds crazy, but if they can sense your brainwaves and also have projection abilities like that I wouldn't put it past them, it's a mystery to people who have experienced similar things. Such as, someone's head being grabbed in the pitch black through their tent wall by a giant hand, as if whatever was grabbing them knew exactly where their head was without any prior physical knowledge or way to know that. I've experienced the infrasound in person and in dreams, it's the same feeling, that projected instant dread. I think the more spiritually inclined beings choose to mess with specific people that are more likely to respond or acknowledge what happened. Much love

      @mistergray9664 7 หลายเดือนก่อน +4

@@badcaseofstripes Wow, yes. I was sleeping in a tent when this ultra vivid dream I had happened. The summer before that, also in my tent, I felt as though I got punched in the head. There was no physical pain whatsoever but I felt a distinct external force that I intuitively knew originated with some kind of palpable intent somewhere in the woods beyond the clearing my tent was in, suddenly seem to compress space and shove my head backwards. This happened minutes after I had experienced some kind of rending of the veil where the sun had risen and I was walking to the camp spot that I had been occupying for the past few days just like any other day, except I had spent the whole night awake. I'd consumed alcohol and cannabis but no psychoactive substances otherwise. As I walked towards my campsite I felt a noticeable shift in perspective that suddenly radically increased my sense of inner and spatial depth, like I had crossed into a different plane of existence that sat just outside the realm of normal perception, and I became aware of the luminosity of the light that was filtering through the trees in such a profound way, and felt intimately touched and known by some benevolent and gently yet powerfully loving entity and completely filled and surrounded by overflowing love. It wasn't my first time having a paranormal experience but it was one of the most beautiful moments I'd ever witnessed, and the way that it was followed by this extremely uncanny punching sensation as I lay in chavasana in my sleeping bag is just *weird*.

The only problem, as I stated already on a different video, is that newer generations will never watch anything longer than 10 minutes, which isn't just their loss, but ours too. It's surprising, but I suppose it's largely bc people on TH-cam are much more acclimated to long-form video essays and podcast-style content.

In the Bible, it says that signs will cease when the perfect has come. The doctrine and details are debated within Christianity, but it's called cessationism, and is used to explain why miracles do not happen as much as they as recorded in scripture, like in the Old Testament. Similarly, many religious and even occultic traditions have a similar doctrine, some saying that supernatural things like magic started weakening, some placing said weakening around the time Christ was born. Also reflected in some fictional media, like the Index series or Type Moon universe in anime.
So it could be that the advent of Christianity is the cause of the morphological transition to a rationalistic, more grounded era. In other words, magic ebbed and the laws of science became more solid during this time. Some circumstantial evidence of this would be that it is the Christian nations, especially ones hit by the Protestant Reformation, that sees outgrowths of atheism and materialism and are now atheistic countries because they do not experience the supernatural, while countries steeped in heathenism, even syncretic Catholicism, still seem to report encounters of the supernatural more frequently.
As someone who immigrated from a third world country to America, definitely a different air here, whereas before, supernatural stuff seemed more commonplace back in the birth country, and then it just whimpers here (not to say there haven't been times where I have experienced the supernatural stuff here in the States because I have, or at least as far as I can ascertain, but it seemed a lot more frequent in the backwater).

I grew up in a real haunted house where we all saw and heard very unbelievable things and we also had some serious UFO problems up until around 1974. So I had a whole lot of questions which led me to begin studying science and trying to understand physics. Then after decades I had another even more bizarre and terrifying UFO encounter in 1999 that completely ended my night fishing fun and I`m still very afraid and I`m not sure exactly why. Maybe it was the 7 hours of missing time? I`m relieved to finally see the government admitting these things are real. But the ridicule I`ve gone through has done its damage. I also had another temporary haunting around 2009 that was more fascinating than scary that slowly faded over about 18 months. I don`t know what causes these "impossible" events. I suspect there may be dangerous forces in physics that are kept hidden for obvious reasons. Astronaut Dr Mitchell`s book The Way Of The Explorer is very revealing. Everyone interested in this subject should read it.

I think that sensitives who are unaware of their particular, natural talent for these perceptions are the ones who are bothered most by the phenomena you describe. My sense is that because you are unaware of your power, these other energies take advantage of your ability to perceive them, but not banish them (so to speak. Not the best word but I hope you understand).
They rely on making you feel victimised hence your vibration makes you an easy target for future interactions for others like them. It is taking advantage, bullying and in a way, subversive gaslighting.
Nothing can harm you. They disable your ability to cast them off by blinding you to your ownership and power over your body and consciousness, through inciting fear.
      Fear. NOTHING.
And let the takeaway be that it’s your power, your perceptive abilities, yet your blindness to them, that makes you an easy target. You have natural talents you’ve yet to access or use to your advantage. Currently they are using your own power to sabotage you.
I know you’ll work it out. And I’m sorry you suffered ridicule. You’re not alone out here.

At its heart Science is a religion (applied Philosophy inwards) of pursuing truth by Subtraction (removing falsehood). Intuition is the corresponding Additive system (adding Truth) that sadly is currently ignored by the Priests of Science. It is definitely tiring waiting for the world to move forward out of the cesspool of ignorance caused by dogma (of Religion and Science) but eventually Science and Spirituality will blend to become complete.

Thank you so much for publishing this extremely important work! I had my first experience with an encounter very similar to the one you describe, and it had a profound impact on my live in such a way that completely altered the way I view the world and the way that I engage with my community. I am half native Hawaiian or I guess I can now say after this experience, I half indigenous and half European Polynesian and Spanish ancestry. The magnitude of what I had experienced that day was so profound that It led me to completely completely walk away from a way of life that what I understood at the time was completely imbalanced, inharmonious, and and unaligned with my new found connection to the natural world around me, to the effect that I was actually able to receive a vivid picture of future circumstances and challenges that were not available to me prior to this experience. I had a deep sense that through this experience, I was able to create some sort of doorway or portal, into another reality, and in such a way enabling me to gain deeper understanding of myself, in addition to those around me, from uniquely authentic prospective, none of which at the time was socially acceptable by societies standards, but by my own. This led me to adopting a whole new lifestyle based on a completely different set of values which essentially altered my entire way of life, abandoning everything I was previously taught by institutions, as well as members of my own family regarding the history of my culture . And was forcibly admitted to multiple mental health facilities, including ones, organized by the state, due to their limiting beliefs and misunderstanding of certain behaviors, that, according to their judgment decided I was posing some kind of harm to myself, kind of potential to cause harm to others, which was completely irrational, construct derived from their own fear from not knowing themselves. This content has provided me a incredible insight and a deep sense of relief, I have not yet found on

The unfortunate fact of the matter is science attempts to explain and also " be " the unexplainable phenomena only conscious experience can "be". It's the same concept of explaining how to close your hand. Sure, you know you can close your hand, but how are you closing your hand ? Yes rationally we can explain down to the nitty gritty why we can close our hands but we only cloud our thoughts with a rational "house" of ideas that enclose our mind to a very small portion of reality. Once we tear down our "mechanistic house " of thought and begin to accept conscious awareness of being, then we can begin to not ask, but to experience the " being " of existence

    Excellent video
Your delivery reminds me of a younger, less hoarse, probably less high Terrance McKenna
You enunciate and pace your sentences a lot like he did
    Similar subject matter too
    How interesting!

WOW talk about mindblown. The technical/scientific terminology may have gone the way of the shamans in Peru but that made more sense to Me than anything I've heard or felt in most of My Lifetimes. Thank you for taking the time and put in the work to help make it make sense. I'm stunned in the best way possible and I'm excited to have research to follow on My Own Journey. Excellent! Thanks again 🔮🪄💜

I think we have "lost" or been "robbed" of our original mystical connection to the realm, or at least been stunted from using our full potential!
Edit: And do you have any thoughts on the ancient megalithic trees from the Biblical era where evidence still lays upon the surface of the earth?

I think what you are referring is giant abnormal trees. In regions where vegetation was prevalent, also prevalent was mass decomposition. The nature of vegetation itself is to die and become something else. The only material things we can identify with are only harsh minerals such as metals and stone. However they are now finding pieces of Paleolithic wood darts (atlatl) still attached to stone points where the melting icecaps once stood. But there were no trees in this area. Basically the elk tried escaping the humans by going onto the ice. Turns out that some humans followed out of necessity to eat and survive. Keep in mind that trees throughout original growth forest were massive in size. The humans burned most of these forest for commercialized agriculture. Different than 1st man agriculture. Agriculture for means of trade. The limited forest that grew back was the small species that we are familiar with today. As far as biblical era, land was already being cleared for agriculture trade. And when you say historical biblical, we are talking about one very small dry region that was not very acceptable for massive size vegetation. Short olive and apricot trees and other stubble. Appricot was most likely the apple mentioned biblically. For apple trees never grew even close to that region.

@@ltwig476 I'm talking about during genesis when the trees reached into the Heavens and if you look into those videos, you may understand what I'm talking about!
I agree with what you are saying as well, but I believe we are talking about two real different times!

I would love having a conversation with you about conciousness and its relationship with reality.
I spent years in solitude studying the nature of existence and exploring deep truths about conciousness.
Playing in the infinite concious plaines that exist.

For me when I’m very relaxed before I go to bed, and close my eyes I can see so many images/happenings I’ve never seen before in my life and it switches like every 1 or 2 seconds, and the images are very random things in very random orders, from the most simple thing like seeing someone shaking someone’s hand to seeing sci-fi world…. It’s really cool to see.. and sometimes I even hear songs I’ve never heard before or random languages I don’t even speak… But I’ve noticed that if I start with a scary thought scary images keep coming and if I start neutral than the very random images keep coming but they always feel good.. it feels like I’m watching tv but the channel changes I n a very speedy way… who else has this?
