Richard, your humor and knowledge is second to none, I enjoy your videos and have learned more from your channel than any of the other fishing channels bar none. We all appreciate you and the wisdom and experience you pass on to all of us. You are definitely a fishing machine.
So my son is 5 months old and has RSV and I am sitting here in the hospital with him and he has finally fell asleep so what better thing to do to make me feel better and relax then watch you catch fish thanks a lot!
I know what you mean and that reaction bite is always key for sure when your only getting hit my dad taught me a lot about crappie fishing brings back memories every time I watch one of your videos great stuff as always!
Sir… Do you ever do some type of drawing or contest that we could win a day fishing with you? My son and I watch you all the time and it would make our year to do one trip with you?
Richard I'm with ya on the Diawa reels, fished with them since I was a kid, matched with diawa rod,it's unbeatable, I'm 61 and just purchased another childhood memory, newer model, but same amazing reel. Enjoying your videos, a sport second to none! Love it.
Richard i enjoy watching your videos and thank you for sharing your videos and your information on how to catch fish. God bless you sir and thank you 🙏❤🙏😊
Hi Richard, I finally noticed what fish finder you use. I have the same one but have struggled getting it set right. Could you do a short video explaining your setting and what you look for. I have watched other videos about the fish finder but feel you could probably explain it in a way that is understandable and enjoyable. Thanks
I say it again and again but Thank you for sharing your life long gained knowledge and that inparted by you father that I have heard you mention at times... I really enjoy what you do...
Yes they do, I live in the same area as Richard Jean and have ran into him at the Dam, fishing on the bank and also at some sports stores looking for particular things, he is as great a person in person as he is on his videos.
Great video Richard, with some really good tips on slow-biting fish! Thank you for sharing your knowledge with us! God Bless you and Mama Sue, and best of luck always!
I agree with the diawa reels. I caught a 19# blue cat while fishing for spring crappie on a 2500 diawa revros on 6# test line. Was impressed with the smooth drag that managed to survive a 45 minute fight with a large catfish.
Mr Gene that is the best explanation of a reflex bite ive heard. Thankyou for sharing i really enjoy your video's. I wish i lived closer i would love to fish for crappie or catfish with you. Takecare and keep safe
Typical 1/32 and 1/16 jig falls at a foot a second when u cast it out free spool your line and count to 19 then start reeling should be at around 19 foot deep give or take a little to find out how fast your jig falls get in what u kniw is 10 fow free spool your jig and count how long it takes to get the bottom
Hey Richard. This is Cornbread from south Louisiana. A friend of mine and his son caught this catfish 2 days ago. Never seen anything like it. Can’t send picture in this comment but would like you to see it. GOD Bless you and family.
Here’s my problem, Oh Fishing Machine, my friend. I use a presentation similar to the one you showed in this vid but the stinking white bass are grabbing it before the crappie have a chance. Woo, Richard!
@@HumbraHongryMHC I will what about minnows that usually works for the winter but hardly get bites in the summer or spring. And where should I fish deep or around the bank near pads and grass.?
Thank You Brother and GOD has Blessed me more than I deserve, but HE Keeps on Blessing me. And that is my prayer for you, your family, & all those who enjoy watching and learning from you. Keep The FAITH For The BEST IS YET TO COME.
