This may be an unconventional opinion to hold, but I would label this album as being their most creative and possibly the pinnacle of their work. I really hope they produce an album as good or better than this one in the impending future.
+Blah Bliff foxygen don't have much of a fanbase, when do you think they'll put out more? There music is like a collage of the best vintage sounds of true rock and roll
Blah Bliff It's a magnificently crafted album. It definitely could use some touch-ups as there is low quality production and the sounds are not nearly as polished as they could be. As for the songwriting and musical rhythms, it revamps the sounds of the 60's and revitalizes the sensual experience received from an experimental work of art. Unfortunately, it is an underdeveloped project capable of much more.
there's this unique kind of style to a lot of this record that feels so,,,theatrical. in a way that almost insists there's more going on that wasn't ever sung about.
ya i listen to this basically everyday.. not sure what he's saying 1/3 of the time so i embellish it with my own little flare lol. Petition to demand a "Kill Art" foxygen musical???
This album is frikkin' genius..Magical, fun, transcendent, free n creative in a way you don't get in music anymore..Its probably even better than Kids On Broadway..Incredible its never even been given a proper release
OMG I FOUND IT A FEW DAYS AGO. IT'S BEAUTIFUL. I have Ghettoplastikk, Kill Art, Jurrassic Exxplosion Philippic, EP 2011, and the two released songs from Electric Sun Machine. I'm living in paradise. I read about JEP in an interview as, "a 30-track space rock concept album about an African boy being abducted by aliens," and I was like "Bullshit. That can't possibly exist." IT DOES. AND IT'S AWESOME.
ClassicRockLivesOn YES! good ear. its more of a cover/homage than it is a sample, but yeah Sam showed me that record back in high school and it wasn't hard to put 2 and 2 together there.
@@whitehair8824 I think so too. Their tracks are significantly warmer then expected from any garageband/sm57 combo. Especially a decade ago, without these fancy new tape plugins that help with saturation. Gotta say though as fuqin 16-17 year old kids when they recorded this album they are definitely on the savant/prodigy spectrum lol.

I like how this somehow sounds like its based off of like 50's, early 60's music, styles like Elvis and Roy Orbison and the Zombies would do

This is arguably their best work....I want it on wax so bad

LIL JAMES' REVENGE
I feel like I’m living in a different dimension because this album deserves 8 billion views
Getting a Roxy Music/Talking Heads vibe from this and digging it thoroughly
It's only a matter of time before I hear them on a movie soundtrack. Too much talent to be ignored. Damn...I wish I had the coin to fund it.
Best album of all time
This is still a masterpiece
The 30 firt seconds r soooo deep can't get over it
Kill Art and Ghettoplastikk! should be on a split 12".

GIGA bangers
0-5:39 = aw sum!! They are not receiving the credit they deserve for this creative and interesting music. Thanks for uploading, I love this group
This is actual music. Thank you Foxygen for making real music in the 21st century, people like me are eternally grateful. Thank you for having soul.
I agree, this is great. Can't believe it's never been officially released

HAPPY M.L.K. WEEKEND, WHITE AND BLACK PEOPLE
Any reason why this isn't on Spotify?
wasn't released through a label
Great album 🎈
i understand what music 's soul is ...
TELL ME WHERE YOU DOWNLOADED IT.
8:55 Chic- Good times, at the beginning lol. I don't blame them for borrowing a good bass line
Ryan L I’m sure Sam and Rado knew the original. Their music draws inspirations from the older decades.
stunning!!
Oh I Am loving This a must download!
what year we taking??
Can anyone post a link or direction for this download???
Do they sample Dambala by Exuma at the end of the first track?
ClassicRockLivesOn YES! good ear. its more of a cover/homage than it is a sample, but yeah Sam showed me that record back in high school and it wasn't hard to put 2 and 2 together there.
Oh cool, you actually know them? That's pretty cool, Exuma was a great record, my favorite song is The Vision (because of the zombie sound effects).
please post a tracklist
how did they get that smooth old sound????
most likely Garageband and a single microphone
Never about the tools but what you do with them! Or some old trope like that 🙂
@@soulcraftloops haha.. I suppose a bit of both. I think they liked using cassette multi track's
