    Ayyyee 🙌 on my way home from a shitty clinical in the emergency room. The nurses don't want to teach us anything but then they look at us like we're stupid. Well then teach us something!!! Then I got to get up tomorrow and take a pharmacology proctored exam. I bet you guys don't miss those days! I can't wait until it's a distant memory. So happy to see a new video from you guys though. Xo

      Oh man!! Some Clinical’s really suck for that! Always remember this so that when you’re a nurse on the floor you never treat students like that. I always tried my best to help students whenever they came for clinicals. The culture needs to be better. You’ll make it through hang in there!!

    I’m very confused your title says why you’re not going back to staff nursing so you mean staff nursing as in being a nurse thru the nursing staffing agencies?

    • @AngNatNursesinNYC
      @AngNatNursesinNYC  ปีที่แล้ว

      What we mean about "staff nursing" is not getting hired directly by hospitals. Instead, we would like to remain travel agency nurses. Thank you for the question. Hope that provided some clarity.

      @@AngNatNursesinNYC :) Can you please do a video on work gossip and toxicity among staff nurses? As a new grad this is something I've had to deal with, I thought it was just me but to my surprise it happens almost everywhere and to new graduates as well. Did you ever have to deal with this? Would love to hear your input. Have a blessed day.

    Can you make a video on what to look at in the contract for travel nurses? And what criteria you have to meet as a nurse to meet the travel nurse position? I heard some travel nurses offers have better advantages than others!

      We are currently at AMN. We previously used triage staffing and also had a great experience.

    Can you do another like another day in the life as a travel nurse ??

    • @AngNatNursesinNYC
      @AngNatNursesinNYC  ปีที่แล้ว

      Yes, we are working on it! We usually post them when we finish our assignments at that particular location. Should be up soon in another month or so!

    Hi girls!!! I love your Channel. What prior experience should I have to become a travel nurse?

    • @AngNatNursesinNYC
      @AngNatNursesinNYC  ปีที่แล้ว

      You should definitely have at least a year of bedside inpatient nursing. You only get 3 days (if even) of training on an assignment so you definitely have to be confident in your skills. Hope this helps!

    what agency do you guys recommend?

    • @AngNatNursesinNYC
      @AngNatNursesinNYC  ปีที่แล้ว

      Theres a lot of factors that can go into this because some agencys have contract with specific hospitals. Our next video is actually about this! We have had good experience with Traige Staffing and ANM so far. Hope this helps and stay tuned for our next video!

    I'm a brand new grad in NY, any places you'd suggest I start off working as a new grad? I follow your channel..u guys are great btw!

    • @AngNatNursesinNYC
      @AngNatNursesinNYC  ปีที่แล้ว +4

      Hi! Congrats!!! We usually recommend always shooting for the big top hospitals because they offer a lot more opportunities to learn and grow. If you have no luck applying online you can alaays try to go in person and drop off your resume. That’s what helped us land our first job at a Mount Sinai a magnet hospital in NYC! Wishing you the best of luck.

    Question. So if I’m staff. Is there anyway I can work agency at the same facility???? Do you guys ever hear that happening? Love the video by the way. #LPN

      Oh and I just became a nurse beginning of September.

    • @AngNatNursesinNYC
      @AngNatNursesinNYC  ปีที่แล้ว

      Hi!! So most places require you to be away from that facility for atleast 6months to a year before you can return to them through agency.
