And in 10 seasons later, on Season 22, they almost recreated the same moment but the difference is at least Season 22 only have both teams losing the first 2 straight dinner services
I love that one of the chefs is saying to herself please be right. You're the one that cooked it, if you think you're a good enough chef to be an executive chef at one of Ramsay's restaurants and you cooked the fish you should know if it's right. This is part of why he kicked you out.
Cooking fish and meat can be tricky, there’s very little visual indication of whether something is cooked properly without cutting it open. Some pieces could be cut weirdly, or it could be a tougher section of meat causing the “feel” to be off, or maybe the piece you’re cooking wasn’t dried off as well as the rest, so it isn’t seared as well but the internal temp is still high. When you have 15 tickets hanging these things happen- I truly don’t believe anyone could be 100% certain something is cooked perfectly without actually cutting it open. You basically have to ballpark it to the best of your ability and cross your fingers its acceptable
4:20 “Listen to Chef!!” That’s another common sense thing in the kitchen as well, always have your ears and eyes open to understand the direction!! “Oh sorry is that me is it?!” Who else? Fairy Godmother?!
And not only that, the kick outs are the same order between the three, the few red team members got kicked, then the entire blue team got kicked out, and lastly were the entire red team got kicked out to end the service and announced as joint losers. Like you can’t make this up
So both Rochelle and Simon are illness feeling sick during dinner service and this is the third time both red and blue chefs are kicked out of the kitchen which lead to a huge fight

I actually don't understand why these chefs are literally happy when Gordon says their dish is cooked? Like aren't most of them professionals in the first place so making "perfect" dishes should be in their DNA right?
I’ve been thinking the same thing watching these compilations and season 22… the amount of times these alleged professional are serving RAW meat is terrifying
They're not professionals, they're amateur chefs. That's what they're referred to as. That doesn't mean mistakes are to be expected, but they do happen because these people don't know what they're doing 100%. Just better than average.
@tobaboba-cc8hn That's my point. Why is it that they are happy when Gordon calls their dishes "perfect"? Shouldn't every dish of a professional chef be "perfect"? I've seen episodes where some chefs send raw meat. How can an executive chef send out raw meat?

Nah. At least Raj had energy in the kitchen and tried to fight back. Simone at the end of this basically volunteered herself to go even though he was clearly looking to send one of the guys home.
Plus whether she is or isn't, Gordon will figure it out. Either way if she's not strong enough to be in Hell's Kitchen he'll take her out for whatever reason. You have to do your best.
