The House Of The Dead 4 was released in the arcades since 2005. It even released the Special Version son in the arcade since 2005. At 2012, Sega released The House Of The Dead 4 for PS3. So from Scarlet Dawn; we know that Thornheart worked with Curien and Goldman.
And the true order of the games going by chronology is Overkill - HOTD 1 - HOTD 2 - HOTD 4 - HOTD 4 Special - Scarlet Dawn - HOTD 3. Now if there's a future HOTD game; I would expect Thornheart to be the Final Boss and have more of his backstory.
Logically, a future HOTD game would be set on the 25th Anniversary of when the events of the first game took place (12-28-98)
Yep. I did played Scarlet Dawn, but didn't recorded it. Thornheart is still alive, but maybe he will be final boss in a new game, not sure.
