Oooh I remember this in an arcade in Timezone like 15 years ago I think. I remember the Judgement dentistry and the concert with the tattooed zombie. I read those machines never saw release outside of Japan. Although now that I think of it, the one I saw was an unofficial imported unit.
I always figure that a game like that would just be a random comedy story about zombie lovers escaping captivity and trying to be human… and the game itself is “couples only”…

The fact it actually uses the z-wordd is what throws it out that it isn't exactly like the series it is supposed to represent like. Also, using up continues is expected because both the minigames are *HARD* and the default setting is set to just two lives per credit. (Unless you get the life bonus from the minigame after "continue".). Let me know if there is a one-credit run clear of the entire game. Bonus points if it's using the original setting's 2 lives only.
I currently am not subscribed to TeknoParrot, so I can't test this game right now. That said, does the full screen setting not work? I'm pretty sure that's what I did to play it in full screen. I don't believe there is currently a way to change the resolution, though.
This is a pretty good game, which I enjoyed quite a bit, when I got it installed on my Arcade One system. Unfortunately it now seems to crash whenever I try selecting a mission, and has anyone had any luck with getting it to successfully work as of late?

I was checking about this on the TeknoParrot Discord server, and there is a github page about this problem. I also found the following information, but I can't say for sure that it works. antonioneves - Today at 6:41 AM regarding hotdex crash I am able to play now doing the following: start game windowed let it load and exit change to fullscreen in game settings works once meaning if you exit it will crash upon level loading and need to launch again in windowed and exit and repeat can anyone try that please? tested this couple times and it worked consistently razors78 - Today at 6:45 AM So if I get this straight. @@arronmunroe I gave this method a try just now. I noticed it was set to "windowed fullscreen" so I set it to fullscreen with the same result. I then attempted to start it up in "windowed" mode via Hyperspin, and I could hear sounds, but then got an error message from the loading screen, and then got thrown back to the wheel. The game DID however load in windowed mode from the TeknoParrot emulator, but the start button on my gun didn't work from there. But for the heck of it, I then tried to play the game again in Hyperspin after that, but got the same thing with it crashing, and throwing me back to the wheel after I tried selecting a stage from either point. I wonder what I may have done wrong, unless you have to do this from launching the game via the TeknoParrot emulator, which I could do when I had it set to windowed, but couldn't get past the initial screen due to my start button not working when I was at that point though?

Some of the missions are really hard, due to a pedal issue. It's very hard to use it, especially for stomping.

I currently am not subscribed to TeknoParrot, so I can't test this game right now. That said, does the full screen setting not work? I'm pretty sure that's what I did to play it in full screen. I don't believe there is currently a way to change the resolution, though.

I ran into that problem myself, and the only way I was able to fix it was to use an older version of BudgieLoader.exe.
