    If you’re in a 9-5 job without any social, financial, or spiritual goals, then you’re really just going through the motions. Think about it-coming home every day just to sit on the couch and scroll through social media. More than a job, people need a sense of purpose. The problem is that so many of us have been conditioned to settle, to play the victim, and complain instead of setting real goals and taking action. Shifting your mindset and setting even one meaningful goal can completely change your outlook on life.

      You need energy in order to be creative and to take action and be deciplined. Oftentimes, we are in survival mode, which takes massive enegy from us. After that 9-5, most people are stressed and drained and just want to release some of that, so they turn to their vices for a quick fix. It's not gotten any easier these past 4 years (FJB) And so people have been even more recluse and depressed. It's not easy to just flip the switch

    • @blakejonathan4505

      @@user_abcxyzz Exactly! This is what I meant by being “conditioned to settle.” Your life’s quality will only go as high as the level of your personal growth. You won’t rise to your ambitions; instead, you’ll fall to the standards you set for yourself. There are people facing tougher circumstances, but it’s those who push through adversity who truly succeed. The effort you put in builds your self-worth. If you constantly come home, lay on the couch, and say “I’m too tired-I’ll handle it tomorrow,” you’re holding yourself back from reaching your full potential.

    One of the exercises that helped me move past limitation and programming feeling states... Specifically that only certain types of work makes enough money to afford to live in US.. is watching TH-cam videos of all these people across the planet sharing what they love to do. Their channel was focused on cooking, knitting, healing or coaching, pets, traveling, dancing..you name it. Or share how their own journey to embrace and do what they love unfolded without the money up front (like traveling across the world). And my logical mind realized you just have to do what you truly love. Today there are so many more opportunities to receive than old school "get a good education. Get a good job." Or "only certain fields make money" that is determined by others. So follow your joy and allow the opportunities to unfold as you go. So I thank all the TH-cam content creators. Very inspiring and liberating.

    Ever since I was 16, I am already doing my business and that’s the only thing I know how to make money. I don’t know how to go to work everyday and have a boss to report to. At 28 when my marriage fell apart i started working and it’s my first time to work. After 3 months I stopped and then I do my business and after a year il try to work again and after a year of trying il be on my own business again. Last time I worked was last year for 5 months. Then I concluded, corporate world is not for me. The world taught us we should finish school and apply for a job- not to have our own business. One day I came across a video that says “God wants you to have your own business. He doesn’t want you to be a slave for 9-5 type of job and be in a rat race.” It’s not for all. Ofcourse we need employees. No business will succeed if there’s no employees. But if you feel it in your gut that there’s more to your life than just working for someone else and you have a good business idea- take a risk. We will die one day anyway.

    Abundance is always having enough of everything you need. No worries. Nothing from outside of yourself. I do conscious imagining, feeling the feeling that I want to feel (freedom) which in my imagining looks like living in intimate relationship with nature, spending my days following my curiosity.
    I asked the Self what it wanted/needed and was shown simply the image of deck chair in a forest glade and of a Buddha meditating.
    The Self is happiest to simply BE. Nothing to worry about. Nothing needed. Stillness and prosperity is what I Am, because I am the Self. There is only the Self. The Self is indivisible and therefore cannot be in lack of anything.

      Even through it is true what the video maker indicates, we are still dealing with the principle of cause and effect. I cant just walk up to a Ferarri dealer and own one because I 100% feel like it. Following the advice here will get you there eventually but space and time are still relevant and on top of that, committing to this state of mind is also still hard work as it is a paradox and your brain defaults to the physical.
      I don't think the comment is intended as cynicism, just one side of the awareness of the dual nature of things.

    I see your point and intention for posting this and I have so much respect to people who post videos to inspire others but I just wanna point out that this doesn’t apply to everyone, especially breadwinners or those with limited opportunities. It’s not because of “lack”, it is just that we have different circumstances. I’m fortunate to live comfortably now, thanks to both hard work and luck but it is important to stay humble and remember that not everyone has the same privilege. It is not all an illusion, sometimes life is really shit and things are hard, that is the reality, but we should not let that stop us from getting what we want.

      I'm at a very big transition stage in my employment, I'm basically picking up and following through where I left off so many yrs ago. Now 34 married father, but finally at a stage where life is not so hectic and I can continue what I'm here to do, which is heal and teach.
      I'll be transitioning to work for myself in health. I'm needing so much rest and care myself, and I'm ironically moving into that space.
      I'll be beginning with real massage , reiki, fitness training, and I have many other skills to finally use.
      Quick life story for you anyway, I'm also a Christian, also travelled my own universal path and have realized and experienced many times my own infinite consciousness. But alas God wants me so here I am. Man I completely understand where your coming from.
      Your in a very good place at the time of the video, very in tune and at peace with yourself and environment. I hope it is still that way for you. I know how life can ebb and flow as we do obviously first at times or in sync also with others at times. I used to be in a very similar space, I used to meditate all day every day, observe silence and just swim with spirit and solitude for intense periods. So much I can say as I'm sure you can also.
      I feel your a kindred friend, and that's why I'm sharing this I guess. I also have the same name but go by James for many yrs now.
      Take care friend, you've reminded me of many golden pieces of wisdom. I'm always here to talk about high level conscious stuffs. There's many who seem to understand but they get trapped in themselves, I guess they would say I'm trapped in a paradigm of Christ or he's symbolic etc, I know all the info trust me, so I would debate he really is the actual distinguishable unalterable truth of this life. Not that I care for debates, I care to find his sheep if they are seeking him.
      Sorry if it's a boring repatition you've heard, but I have never met another soul who has come full circle with the world's traditions and spiritualitys and actually seems to have a handle on the truth of it and why Christ actually is the point of this human journey, or else everything means pretty much anything relevant to personal feelings. And people can have feelings that may harm others, so feelings are to be kept under the reign of your pure conscious discrimination to see the truth of the matters.
      Ciao, take care again.
      Take care,

      I think the gist of it is that we are not our circumstances. If you feel circumstances own you, then you will forever be "struggling" in life. Our inner state of consciousness, determines whether or not we get opportunities to work for better circumstances. But if you are always feeling negative and bitter and oppressed in life, then your personal subjectivity will subconsciously not let you see all the hidden positive opportunities hiding behind every corner of life. If that makes sense to you. We all wear a subjective perception filter, that indirectly creates our outer realities.

      You’re out here already accepting the fact that you’re gonna be homeless. You’re literally speaking your misfortune into existence. The fact that the event hasn’t even occurred and you’re out here accepting that fate.

    I have notice to live this abundance life , its easier to make this choices when you are single or alone , because having family around that always reinforce old beliefs makes it more harder in renewing your mind to the new identity , specially in an environment where you are surrounded by lack and everyone around affirms it 😢😢😢. .. being always in lack isnt a good state its depressing 😢, i need that link also please

    You have a great way of putting into words things I've caught glimpses of but ended up forgetting or not having the right words to use to learn from the experience.
    I really hope I can get through my burnout. I may have entered university not due to my own volition but due to caving in to pressure. On my last semester and finding it near impossible to push through. Every fibre of my being resists pursuing my degree and having seen the light, it's really hard to turn my back to this lack that my degree reinforces, and follow the unknown path my intuition would lead me into. I can't seem to convince myself to push through even though I am so close. Deep inside all I want is to rest. And when I am done resting, I want nothing to do with anything this fast-paced society is trying to shove down my throat.
    Maybe this lack I feel with regards to my current path is due to my beliefs.
    Edit: Abundance!

      I hear you my friend- and as challenging as it sounds, yes I would sincerely investigate your beliefs to see what is creating that perspective and experience. There is a belief that is coloring your perception and producing an effect that you don’t prefer… but only sincerity and honesty will get you to the bottom of it. You will understand it soon enough! I’m sure of it. 🙏🏼

      my guy i know it's rough out there but I really think you should finish off the degree, especially if you're that close to finishing. Ima risk vs reward type of guy and thing is if you finish the degree you can always go on your journey and part ways with society if that's what you want, but thing is if you ever plan on going the old-fashioned way again you'll have your degree to fall back on. Dont act on impulsive thoughts, think about it first. If you really think the journey needs to happen now, then no one is stopping you but you.

    • @Tom-nj9jh
      @Tom-nj9jh หลายเดือนก่อน

      @@silentdmr1479 I appreciate the thorough response, I am definitely going to finish my degree, I only have one course left. Just under my terms this time. I have wrestled with my nature for so long that I am mentally and physically exhausted. Trust me I pushed through, suppressed my emotions and kept going. But now I no longer want to. I have suffered enough, and the realization that I can instantly end that level of suffering and just finish the degree a bit later seems like a gift from the heavens. My dream is to be self-employed, and use my degree to drive that. I am starting to think I really am passionate about it, just experiencing a deep burnout and fatigue that I need to let myself recharge. I need a full reset. (also dealing with types of abuse in my living situation that I need to get out of).

    I'm sorry to say that click baits like these will only make people stray away from your channel. While everything you said is true to some extent, action as in working for it is 90 percent of the time needed for that abundance to flow or manifest. Honesty and self reflection is definitely something important but also putting in the work is also needed, so please refrain from lying to people just because you need more views (TH-cam income)

    • @ElevatedConcsiousness

      Everyone needs to work to gain money. A service or a set of skills they provide that are of value. You can't sit on a sofa watching Netflix all day long and receive money and basically NOT WORKING like you mentioned in your title and yes I did watch the video till the end.

    • @jamie.lauder

    • @ElevatedConcsiousness
      @ElevatedConcsiousness หลายเดือนก่อน +3

      Not working (to some degree) and still getting paid is probably the end result. At first you need to work your ass off everyday to make you what desire happen. Then only if you succeed , you can live that freedom of doing whatever you want, whenever you want.

    • @ElevatedConcsiousness
      @ElevatedConcsiousness หลายเดือนก่อน +3

      Knowing that my point is correct, you didn't know what to answer so you labeled it as a misunderstanding of course. I advise you to practice what you preach and do some of that self reflection you talked about, rewatch your video and see how you basically did not make one single argument to how your title makes any sense.
      Best of luck
