Eclectic Rolex collection. Like yours my own also includes the Daytona Panda and the 40mm YM blue and the Batman…though on the jubilee because I find it more comfortable. My Datejust is the blue dial iteration with the fluted bezel which brought me into the Rolex world a decade ago. In place of the Sub I procured a Pelagos 39 because I prefer the lighter weight and found it quite easier to wear. Never particularly cared for the design or ascetics of the Milgauss nor the Airking. Marvelous collection yours.
@@watchgrok I also think that polished center links is the best thing Rolex offers when it comes to the bracelet. Imagine wearing a watch for 20-30 years. Those center links will be covered with scratches like no other. It’s going to make the bracelet more unique. I think there is a reason why white gold Pepsi with meteorite dial comes exclusively with oyster bracelet. If you think about it, once center links matches with the dial you’re are going to have a work of art on your wrist.
@@cookingwithwatches That is an interesting perspective and one I did not think about... That is actually one of the pieces I am looking to get and that is a fair point. I appreciate you sharing your view point and providing another perspective on scratches on polished center links!
Just discovered your channel and I have been binge watching all your videos, needless to say I’m really enjoying your content. One thing that has intrigued me are the watch books on the background of your videos, maybe you could make a video showcasing the books, I think that could be interesting.
Hi there, and thank you so much for your support! That's a great idea! Maybe one of these days I'll go over the books I have. I'm slowly collecting more from brands when I can as well. Please feel free to make any other suggestions for content that you would like to see on the channel!
Awesome collection, just to compare, what’s your wrist size? Im not sure if should i go for the OP Green 41 or 36? I know that what runs little bigger, right?
Congratulations to you on the State of your Watch Collection, it really impressive that you managed to acquire all the pieces in 2 years time, it's a Significant achievement. I have been waiting for a Date Just 41 in Fluted/Jubilee Configuration for over 2 years now, sadly my follow ups with the AD's are not yielding any results.
Thank you very much! That's interesting that you have waited so long for that particular piece. For date justs, I have heard being open to a couple different configurations can help with the process, but also you should buy the piece you really want. I would recommend dropping in to ADs when/if you travel as well as trying to talk to other ADs as well. For cadence, if you can I would drop in every month or so, so that you are top of mind for your SA as well for when that configuration comes in. I wish you the best of luck and hope you get your piece soon!
Very nice collection. I have a no date sub and Air King. I’d love to add an OP41 green to the collection. Been waiting for so long, I don’t think it’s going to happen.
Thank you! Those are great pieces! I think it will happen, just gotta be patient. Out of curiosity, how long have you been waiting? The green dial OP41 should definitely be possible if you have bought those other pieces from the same AD.
Hmm, I had considered the polar explorer 2 but it lost its appeal. I can appreciate it, but probably not for my collection. I do really like the lume on it though.
Im sorry but ur stories seem so farfetched is crazy. A daytona on request, a Tiffany blue 2 weeks a starbucks walking in is just literally impossible at least where i live miami. Unless ur paying money yo ur ad behind closed doors it doesnt even matter if you have 100k in history ur not getting a Tiffany or daytona unless you pay money on the side.
I can see why you would think that. For the panda I did have a good amount of spend with the AD. For the OP, it was a different AD which I had been talking to for almost a year and they pulled through for my wife's birthday. Starbucks was a different AD; I had purchased a piece previously from the AD and it was a right time right place sort of deal :)
Skydweller + President (5 digits) and your collection is complete 🎉
Good suggestions!
Great video. Thanks for sharing your beautiful collection with us!!
Thank you so much!

Thank you! Oh interesting, I have a Pelagos 39, and I find that the size is great but I don't find myself wearing it too much.
Beautiful collection. I love variety of dials
Thank you! I am definitely keen on collecting watches that have some contrast and are on the fun side in terms of dials and contrast.

Can you please share a ballpark what kind of spend you did to be allocated the panda daytona?
Hi There, I picked up several pieces across multiple brands before I got the panda daytona.
Very impressive collection!!
Thank you very much!
Nice video on Rolex. My favorite piece is the Yacht Master. I plan on purchasing the rhodium dial for myself. Rolex is KING 🔥
Thank you! That is definitely a standout. The rhodium dial is 🔥

Thanks! I have about a 7.5” wrist. The 41 wears pretty well for me.
@@watchgrok ok mine is 6.75” i think 36 might fit little better, anyhow thanks!
Of course! You are probably right.

Would you consider an Explorer 2 for your collection?

Another Rolex might fit.
Haha, yes... keeping my eye out :)
Why stop at 7?
Haha, I did mention I have a couple more I may collect, but I have my eye on other pieces too outside of Rolex 🙂
Interesting collection. I have four Rolexes but none are in your current collection.
Thanks! Which Rolexes do you have in your collection?
well thats a bunch of R watches alright.
Haha, yes…
You must live where people generally can’t afford a Rolex
Not really, I live in an area where the competition is pretty fierce, but there are 7+ ADs relatively close to
