You do not have to take off the ring on the user left side. Take off the left crank arm only, then work fully from the right side. Only change the ring if it is absolutely necessary.
Hi, thanks for making this video! Really hoping you could advise me on this. I've got a clunking sensation (no audible sound, more like a sensation near my foot) at around 7 o clock of my left pedal when I pedal standing. Visually, both crank arms and triple link pedals looks well installed. I have also tried adjusting the tension to no avail, so I have a strong feeling it's the BB. I think it is either loose or broken from me moving the bike abroad. My AC Performance is less than a year old 😢 Thing is, there seem to be many types of 68X113L ISIS Bottom Brackets. Truvativ alone has multiple variations (power spline, giga etc) with the same measurements. Other than Schwinn's, will it be okay to use other brands of ISIS bottom brackets as long as the measurements are correct? What I'm afraid of is that the bottom bracket may fit in the frame but my original crank arms wouldn't fit to the new BB. Is this a valid concern? Thank you so much.

Get some thread lock from the hardware store and you should be good.
