In my opinion, cars were gorgeous from the 50s all the way to the 90s when they started looking like today's cars and less appealing and less qualitative
Nice looking 1956 Chevrolet. Cars looked great in the nineteen fifties. I did notice from video of the Transmission Selector Positions that the automatic transmission appears to be a later 3 speed automatic that was installed as an improvement over the Chevrolet 2 speed powerglide transmission.
Black & silver is different combination, very nice. Why are the headlights half covered in chrome? It's not blackout conditions. Smart continental kit on the back & I love a hardtop.
Really like the color. DO NOT like the Continental kit or the sun visor. Ruins the overall look of a really classic car. I had a bronze and white '56 convertible, 265 bored out to 283, three 2 barrel carbs, fully balanced engine, bucket seats. Boy, sure wish I had that car now!
I agree on the color and Continental Kit. I'm a Ford fan and Continental Kits belong on Fords exclusively in my opinion. And I don't like them on Fords! Period...I just don't like them. Yuck!
50s was the Golden years in America. The cars were mouth watering. So much beauty.
Couldn't agree more! Thanks so much for watching Samspace81

Beautiful 56 Continental kit does nothing for the car
