Wow, your message just made my day! thank you very much....😊 I'm so glad to hear that the illustrations are clear as I spent a lot of time drawing them. It's super important to me that everyone can easily follow along and get a real feel for the grooming process. Your feedback is a huge encouragement! thank you again warm regards Kitty
Invaluable education as always!! The few times my family has had dogs we always had short and long haired dachshunds, and I've always been interested in wire haired dachshunds so this video was an extra special treat! I first learned how to groom 5 years ago, and these videos have helped teach me so much about proper prep work and breed standard grooming. Thank you for continuing to provide such detailed and high quality information, seeing new videos always makes my day 🖤
This is the best grooming site I’ve ever seen. Thank you for your patience and the time you spent demonstrating. It is very much appreciated by both me and my dogs I have learned so much ❤
This is probably the best educational video I’ve seen on stripping the wirehaired dachshund. Well done! I’m without a wirehaired dachshund at the moment as I lost my standard girl last year but I hope to have another in the near future so this will be a nice video to refer back to when I need it.
Hi again Kitty! Great video I just acquired a new wire haired Doxie! Shes lovely and lives on a boat ! I love this breed! Thanks for the video! Love to you and your family❣️♥️‼️🙋♀️☮️🥰🐾🐾‼️love, Sue

Very good to watch this as i have a 6 month old Wire called Bertie. If anyone can advise me i cant seem to find anything that tells me when to start stripping him propery up ti now ive only pulled a few long hairs out to see how he reacts, i gave him a bath when i got him 2 months ago and have clipped his nails but thats as far as ive gone and its now mod September. Help anyone!
Hi Sharon, Starting hand-stripping depends on the individual dog and their coat. Some dogs can be hand-stripped as early as 12 weeks, while others may need to wait until around 8 months. The key is to introduce your dog to the grooming table as soon as possible, so they get used to the experience. Make it a positive and fun activity for both of you! You can start slowly, pulling a few hairs at a time to get both you and your dog comfortable with the process. Hand-stripping bit by bit is a great way to bond with your dog and help them adjust to grooming. Keep it gentle and patient, and you’ll both get the hang of it!
Hi, thank you for your concerns, No it doesn't hurt the dog , if you do this in a correct way . The only thing we can advice , is for not pulling out the Hair when the dog have an ear infection. Thank you
Love the illustrations. It’s very helpful to visualize the task. Thank you!

Hi! Thank you for posting this. May I ask why do you do the stripping inside the ears? If you don’t do it, does it get too dirty? Thank you :))
So educational as always! Do you have a video on grooming a Siberian Husky? Tips and grooming requirements.

Dosnt it hurt the dog when pulling out the hair in the ears? 😢
