Mª La Perrata en su pelea con el cante llegaba hasta las mismas puertas de la muerte cosa que trasmitía al aficionao paseandonos por los túneles de la desaparición jonda. Perteneciente a otra de las grandes dinastía de cante gitano, grabó varios discos y participó en otros tantos programas de TV. Multiplicaba su poder de transmisión en sus actuaciones en directo siempre vehiculado magistralemte por la guitarra de su hijo Pedro Peña. Otro momento sublime del cante gitano y cante jondo. En los Estados Unidos la gente desea una voz preciosa, y no les importa lo que se transmite emoción. Este vídeo es el ejemplo perfecto de arte verdadero, el Flamenco, con la profunda emoción. Uno no tiene que saber el idioma para escuchar la emoción.

Hay una confusión cuando se dice que el flamenco puro no existe, porque siempre está en transformación y viene de la creatividad. Cierto, pero es que eso es justo lo que el flamenco puro es. Tiene cánones, claro, porque esos le dan la forma flamenca, pero el flamenco es puro porque sobre esos cánones se saca todo el sentimiento, lo mas profundo, se hacen las cosas como se las sienta, vivas y en el momento. Esa es la diferencia entre arte y efectismo. El arte es el sentimiento genuino y desnudo

@@elmojama4 it's only when "age" comes to the cantaoras that the "spirit" descends on them and the reality of JONDO CANTO makes itself known for those us who were not born to the tradition. I'm listening now and weeping even though I don't understand the words. She is my "grandmother", the grandmother of my soul. what I am most contacted by his her intense KNUCKLE RAPPING on the table. It seems to me to be something "primordial". Our lost ancestors giving "voice" to the "terrors" of the day. tapping on the ground in front of the night's fire

@@lleeheflin7786 That is the magic of gypsy cante, like blues, only music with its power of transmission is capable of expressing everything that the cantaor / singer is saying and transporting us back a hundred years.
@@elmojama4 and it is the women, like La Perrata and others, who bear the burden of Life's HISTORY, and must then give "witness" to that history, not to "perform", but rather to keep that history ALIVE . I am 83.. and one of my regrets is that I won't be around to see how the young cantoras of today, like Lole Montoya por ejemplo, will develop into the La Perratas of the future. I genuinely HOPE that that tradition doesn't die a slow death

sabes cual es el problema grabe de los que cantan flamenco a dia de hoy como puede ser arcangel miguel poveda pitingo etc etc es que esto no lo escuchan les parece aburrido ellos prefieren bulerias y bulerias y bulerias sin saber el sabor flamenco de verdad el flamenco a pegado un cambio musical tremendo a perdido toda la esencia antes como podeis observar en este video guitarras palmas y cante en lo de ahora ay ke si 4 guitarras ke si un cajon flamenco ke si un coro k si el kantaor k si djembes
