Clint Walker was a man with integrity, humility, a gentle spirit, and the heart of a true patriot. He appreciated his fans and enjoyed spending time with them. I never get tired of watching my Cheyenne DVD’s.
Coburn shines, great talent. Sergio Leone thank you for rescuing Lee Van Cleef from these small roles and making him one of the greatest western heroes.

I can on a very personal level tell you that is very very true...I met him on the set of Cheyenne on Warner's back lot in 1958....He was a real gentleman.

So many good actors in this movie (even the guy who walked in asking for someone to work on his chain gang). And look at 6' 2" Coburn next to 6' 6" Walker. Coburn actually looks small next to him.

Clint was the star! The best!
Many actors spent time as "journeymen", learning their craft in TV then earning their film stardom over time.
Something about Clint originally being a security guard at the studios and didn't take long for directors to include him in scenes .
Van Cleef grew a mus-tach.......and became Lee Van Cleef, bad ass, and ruled the bad ass films from then on!
