Jim Callis has straight up said that his limited minor league experience is probably the only reason he’s not a Top 5 prospect right now. Quinn Preister has raised his stock massively at the instructional league apparently. According to Jim Callis & Jonathan Mayo every one they talk to that’s seen him pitch since last year give glowing reviews about his stuff improving drastically and his command remaining good. Keibert Ruiz deserves his spot, a catcher who will slash you .300/.350/.450 with 15-20 HR while playing average defense is an all-star.

it's amazing how every prospect is a can't miss til they do. When in reality only like a handful will be standout, while the rest are roster fillers in a few seasons. It's like rating an NFL draft the day after it is completed, what are you basing it on. Potential is a possibility not a certainty, and these guys in A and AA aren't facing Kershaw, Scherzer, DeGrom, Cole level opposition. As Mets fans, we should know that great expectations often provide great disappointment.

Mariners have 6 prospects, half of them are Outfielders. Half are pitchers. We've got a few young guys in a great Kyle Lewis (also an OF), an iffy JP Crawford, and Shed Long who I don't have much of an opinion of. So we have 4 OF guys, meaning one of these great prospects is going to be at most an occasional guy, and then we'll be staring at a market that Dipoto has never played properly for the corners, behind the plate, and probably a better SS. Just a reminder that Dipoto has said we're in it for the long game. The long game that our fantastic prospect that was RotY in 2001 is retired and that year was his only playoff berth with the team.

I may be a bit bias but Nate Pearson dropping to 10th this year doesn't make sense to me.
Sure his debut outings were forgettable at best, but he was a 24 year old starting pitching making his debut during a global pandemic. Training for two months, out of nowhere being put on hiatus for 5 months and then jumping in to an MLB season with essentially no pre-season is going to be tough for the best of players.
Look at all the superstars across the league who struggled this season.
I agree that he's probably the #2 pitching prospect behind Gore but I would have had Pearson in that 5-7 range.
Also, I would have like to see Austin Martin a bit higher.

Great video Marc. I think baseball fans need to become more acclimated with prospects.

Most excited for Ke'Bryan Hayes, just hoping for some degree of success with the Pirates (RotY).

The scare is that Meyer is 6 ft tall and not this huge 6'4 guy like starters normally are. But if guys like Stroman and Cone and Pedro can do it, so can Meyer. I think he'll be a very scary starter in the league

Um...Marc? Did you forget about O’Neil Cruz drunk driving? I guess the site did too

He wasn’t under the influence. That report that he was was false. He was driving a sick kid and pregnant wife to the hospital and hit the motorcycle driving on the wrong side of the road with no lights on at 1 AM.
Also he played Dominican ball and will probably come up with the Pirates this year.

Wow I was surprised I did not see any prospects from the A”s on here, I guess they do not have any prospects in the top 100 right now, that’s odd because I thought they did!

I think Alek Manoa was snubbed. He was picked ahead of George Kirby in the same draft also he has much better numbers thus far in the minors.

Guys I love on this list that I think are under rated:
    Kristian Robinson
    Brennan Davis
    Brailyn Marquez
    Garrett Crochet
    Zach Veen
    Snubs:
    Jordan Walker
    Ed Howard
