Dual carriageways on some routes, I think there’s 4 different test routes from the test centre here, a big junction on a hill when you’re driving back to the test centre which is also in a big industrial estate too which people get caught out on, it’s tricky! Please come here I’d love to have my nervous self do a mock with you guys 😆 I’m sure there’s other fans around here too that would do mocks!
Was taught how to use cruise control and speed limiters but only used them for that lesson. Purely on the basis that I knew the age of car I’d be buying wouldn’t have them so didn’t want to become dependent on them
13 years old in the front seat of my step dads car and i witness a bike slip straight under a lorry that was turning right from a junction, bike on left lane going to fast breaks slips and slides on the side rider still on and straight under the back wheels of the lorries trailer wheels. So terrifying.
I unironically had to reverse round a corner within 1 month of passing my test. It was because I broke down on the exit of a roundabout in an airport car park. The police had to push my car back to before the roundabout (couldn't push forward as there was a tram level crossing), so technically not powered reversing, but still had to do the steering.

That doesn’t really make any sense tbh. You’re in the middle of the road signalling left or right when you’re going ahead would be confusing and not helpful at all! I’ve never heard of this before. What does your instructor think?
Basically just go on the motorway and click the cruise control button. Then there'll be a set button, and it'll most likely set it to what your current speed is. It doesn't really matter because anything you do is prioritised, so if you need to go faster or slow down you will. Just do it once on an empty road and bobs your uncle you'll get used to it
Loved both of those - the fuel one in particular was brilliant. I really love the enthusiasm on the channel - I only passed my test about a year ago in Ireland and I wish I had a similar instructor with the energy you guys have. It definitely makes it more entertaining 😂 continued success to you both and hopefully the channel continues to grow 🙏

That crash in the middle of that junction was during my driving test!
