I have 44delta handles on my Ridgeback set and love the size and texture. As mentioned, the magnets are crazy strong and I can't believe I didn't think to put the magnets in my handles like that instead of prying the things apart. I should have watched this video earlier!
Those CI Handles are indeed awesome. He does do a ton of colors, as well as custom orders. 44 Delta is great!
Thanks for showing off some of the goodies. This was a fun review for me to watch, but mostly for the humor. You were really getting "trolled" there for a minute towards the beginning. Damn New Kids on the Block!! Now that song's going to be stuck in my head for a week.
Oh, and I know where you got those Fillamentum green standard Moki handles from that were in that Ziploc baggy. ;)
And yeah, those magnets are legit. I'm very happy with them. It's really common to buy magnets with a claimed "N52" rating from Amazon and the such, only for them to be barely stronger than a fridge magnet. But I found a good and reliable source. If you're going to do something, you should do it right, yeah?
Thanks again Sandman. Appreciate it.
Thank you for the Veterans discount. I love my reaper genesis handles and chuck vice.
@@toycoma98 absolutely!
Abracadabra you built a comfy custom pick set. Love your work Sandman
Abracadabra buddy.. lol got a kick out of this video... I need to get a few things from 44 delta... some great stuff!
i used the pointy butt of the pick handle to push in the magnets. after i saw the handles and browsed the 44 Delta site, I ended up ordering a desk clamp as well! I would definitely have bought more if I had unlimited funds!
Thank you for your support through your purchases.
@@eschlenz i hope you make lots of money! great designs that i'm sure are not easy to figure out. keep up the good work!
@@iamjeramy thanks. I'm honestly not doing this for the money. This is a hobby business for me. The business needs to make only enough money to sustain itself. But all profits, at least for the foreseeable future, stay in the company itself.
I'd like to see this handle design for mutipick picks and a C-clip remover tool, pin tweezers... a one stop shop for everything gutting
Multipick is on the short list of handles to do next. It's basically the same dimensions as the standard CI picks, only a bit smaller.
As for the other ideas, those are a little tougher. There is a model already out there for 3D printed pinning tweezers. I'll play with them and see if they're good enough to get the job done. And if so, I'll either make those available (if the license allows), or design my own.
I don't think you'll ever see me make a 3D printed C-clip remover though. The plastic just isn't strong enough to handle that kind of load. I did recently buy a CNC machine, however. No promises, but I hope to be able to start designing and making metal tools in small batches. One other idea would be to switch from those pesky metal C-clips to the 3D printed ones I have. They work very well and are easy to remove.
I will be ordering the Mcnally reaper handles, stat. Thank you for the review.
They’ve completely changed them from kinda neat to totally useable and my go-to.
@@rilijn This is really cool for me to hear. I'm happy they've made such an impact.
I got a couple CI 25 handles really like them! I need to get some for my reaper set! I’m tempted to try some shrink tube over the handles just for feel but might be bigger than I want.
1/4in-1/8in 18-10awg tubing will work. Part #153258 from home depot.
Those handles look very well designed. For me, they'd be a necessity for the Reaper picks. Man, those picks feel small!
@@Dmaclocksport 100% agree.
What ever that magic word was I'm still watching 😂
Any product? Yes! Eurolock pinning shoe.
I'll see what I can do. Probably a long term task. No promises, but I'll add it to the idea list.
I just purchased a lishi Schlage (sc1) I’m about to explore your channel for more videos on lishi but I was wondering how you feel about lishi and the difference between the sc1 and others on the covert website?
@@shuckLedurkins I have a few Lishi videos, definitely check them out. I carry a Schlage Lishi as my EDC, but it’s an SC20 because it fits all Schlage keyways and 5 or 6 pin. But the SC1 is a good place to start until you get the hand of it.
@ noted, thank you so much :D
Just bought the vice from his sight, we’ll see how it fares I’ve was thinking it would be great if he sold a rubber boot for said vice
you'll like it. i use mine on a neoprene play mat for mtg or tcg. great for traveling to meetups as well because it is light and breaks down.
A few people have asked for this, but the majority of folks don't find they need it. As sandman, you can use it on a surface that is naturally grippy. Some people have bought adhesive backed rubber off of Amazon and cut it to size to stick it to the bottom. The last time someone asked about this was a few months ago. I did by some "Gription" tape that I'd be willing to supply upon request in orders. I don't think I'll make that a standard "toss in" though, since there are plenty of simple DIY solutions.
Thank you for your support through your purchase.

Abracadabra fs man, eschlenz makes great products and is a super nice dude!!
Thank you for the kind words. :D
How grippy are the 44 delta handles for covert instruments picks?
@@TheLockWhisperer it’s subjective. Grippy enough
Sandman covered it, but here's my 2 cents. If you're expecting something like Rhino lining, don't. The texture is there in these handles, and it definitely helps with the grip. But it's far from something like sandpaper.
@@eschlenz thanks for the insight. Ima have to order some to check them out .
@@sandman_locksport thanks !
