RT's entire playthrough has been luck piled on luck. Look up the chances of some of the random events he's gotten. Most notably, the strange capsule has 0.8% chance of happening and can only happen after year 1. He got it day 11 on year 2.

So I was playing Stardew with my friend a while back, and they were also married to Emily. Now the funny part here is that she asked for the fiber to make the clothes, and we didn't quite know what she was going to make, so one morning I walk out to start watering the plants and they come out of their house wearing a mariachi outfit and said that's what Emily gave them.

Fun fact: Emily wasn’t originally a marriageable character when the game first came out; she was added as an option later after a community poll. For some reason, Clint’s dialogue was never updated to match this change, resulting in the hilariously inappropriate cutscene at 21:32 where he literally asks Emily’s spouse for advice on how to date her

@@banishedpest115 I believe there are some things in the game that villagers break when they pass by, and some they don't. Whenever their path is blocked they run a bit faster so they're roughly on time, but if it's continually blocked they slow down for each object... the flamingos must be one of the things that don't break.

I've owned Stardew for years and never got into it due to the poor controls and lack of explanation making for a crappy starting experience. These highlights gave me enough interest and a glance ahead to get me through the shoddy start
Yeah this series was part of the reason why I ended up buying the game AND started watching Breaking Bad and I don't regret it a bit.

Marriage goes almost unrecognized by any NPCs and it's a shame. Like, I think you can get all the flirty heart events with all of the other 11 bachelors and bachelorettes while married, and you definitely get their general flirty dialogue still from being at 8 hearts.

After Walter White arrived at Clint's Blacksmith Shop, he had to punish the man who almost did the unthinkable and unforgivable. Throwing "This-Is-Not-Meth" at his feet, the explosion shook the very foundation of the building both were in. Clint, recovering from the daze of the explosion, looked at Walter in bewilderment. Clint surviving the explosion was no miracle, but calculated intention by Walter, serving it as a preamble to a formal warning:
"I am the danger!" shouted Walter White. "A guy tries to woo Emily and you think that of yourself? No. I am the one who knocks...Emily up."
The silence pierced through the estabilishment as Clint's heart was breaking into a million pieces. He felt so many emotions at once it was unbearable. The silence was soon broken:
"Also, can you upgrade my watering can, please?" asked Walter White, asserting dominance over the pitiful man, as well as really needing that upgrade.
Whether Clint upgraded the watering can out of fear of his life, or out of his obligation as a "nice guy", is an enigma. Only he knows why he did that. One thing for sure, after the incident, they both changed and could never return to being the same person as before the incident ever again.
This is canon in my mind now.

Instead of his actions chasing blue destroying everything and everyone around him; his pursuit of everything blue rebuilt the town community centre and so much more

In case you were curious at 2:40, originally you could buy the Joja Membership right after finishing the community center. You basically got the community center cutscene with the town, and then when you stepped into it afterwards it was a Joja center lolol. I did this on my second playthrough of the game and it was the most satisfying and painful thing I've ever done (since I had to go through the whole process of making it happen only to buy it all away with 5000g lol).
I'd presume they added the extra dialogue in a subsequent update, tbh.

I'm genuinely surprised RT has never been spoiled over the game's content, given that he's always on the internet and spoilers are everywhere. This is exactly what I love. 0 expectations and spoiler-free gameplay, just pure excitement at every surprises the game throws at you, like opening a birthday present. It truly feels like I'm playing Stardew Valley for the first time all over again. Thank you RT for strengthening my love for this game even more.
In season 1, newer viewers viewers would come in and tell him to do stuff he doesn't know and spoil stuff. However since Dan always plays games without spoilers he snuffed them out quick. Also when he asks something and some spoilt the answer, chat is quick to drown it out with ridiculous answers and memes
Me and my brother completed the community center a few days back, afterwards we talked about what happened (just to flex real quick, I did it first, so ha). Turns out when you repair the community center, Pierre will do something different depending on what you say. I decided to be reasonable, which I regret cause instead of throwing hands, Pierre just gave a speech about friendship.

when i was playing through my first farm i never thought to fish outside the witch's hut so i waited until i had five golden ancient fruits T_T and of course by then i already had max friendship with everyone so the only perk of getting the movie theater was the crane game

I love the series so much, but I constantly find myself become unreasonably angry at you stumbling into an answer that I spent so many hours trying to figure out and that's honestly part of the fun. Keep up the great work!

@@axdonat Except it really doesn't, Clint is nothing like an incel which is a person who doesn't want a relationship because they've bought into the narrative that all women are vapid harlots who only go for the "top 10% of men" despite there being "normal" guys like them; nor a nice guy who is a self confident individual who believes they are owed relationships because they act nice, and it does take self confidence to believe this because someone with low self esteem wouldn't think they deserve anything.
Clint is just a socially awkward bloke who suffers from anxiety. Like a lot of the people hating on him because they don't like seeing themselves in a game.

Thank you for making me interested in Stardew Valley. I've been having a blast with my first playthrough. I'm at the start of the second year and on my way to marry Penny. My only regret so far is returning Lewis his shorts like the goodie two-shoes I am. I didn't know of all the funny events you could trigger with them. I'm afraid Lewis won't like my next character nearly as much as my current one.
i know this comment is a month old but i feel the need to let you know that you can get a gold-trimmed version of lewis' shorts by putting a staircase in your pants slot, they can be used to trigger things like the luau incident just like the original shorts and you can also wear them

This is why I love watching RTs playthroughs of things. He just inserts a brand new narrative into games that makes it really entertaining. Like here for example, he's just Walter White if he was a honest farmer and not a drug empire tycoon, while still claiming he's a drug tycoon. It's great.
