I don’t think Edwin Starr made a bad record. Keep making the videos - I love 45s too. There’s just something about them! Great selections as always Lawrence, cheers 🙏
Cheers Andy. I used to be a bit overwhelmed by 45s, but these days I can't get enough. I suppose it's because they are small with just two songs, they are very addictive and collectable. All the best 👍
I like 45s too because sometimes the mix or versions they use on the albums sometimes be different or just the sound quality is different this Edwin Starr track was only a single release it was never on any album until the 1980s when Motown did superstar series album on Edwin my favorite cut by him
Prime beard, my friend. The envy was immediate, gotta say. 😁 Deep, DEEP groove on that Frankie Beverley jam. Wow. Pure fire. 🔥 Great choices. Man. You're pulling from an absurdly funky era. Give me 70-75 Soul any day, any time, any moment. Yep, you gotta keep making these. We just need to get you promoted up. And then build a funky people database. It's comin'. 😎
Cheers Craig... its been a long process (the beard that is) and takes a fair bit of grooming. That frankie beverly record is a monster.... heavy stuff. That's the joy of 45s; lots of stuff that falls between the cracks. All the best!
Frankie Beverly first group was Frankie Beverly and the butlers probably best know for 2 records on the northern soul scene if that’s what you wanted and because of my heart.
Yes... love (your pain goes deep), is one of theirs I really love... It's all quite a contrast to the later stuff with Maze. Whatever the case, he's a serious artist who gets quite overlooked. Cheers!
Great selection soul funk my friend .👍😉
Thanks Zal... I love soul 45s!
@@melomano4145,yes i know my friend😉

@@melomano4145 The Frankie Beverly cut was the beginnings of Maze. Marvin Gaye convinced Beverly to change the group's name from Raw Soul.
@actionsub the start of something great!
@@melomano4145 It certainly was!
Keep. Making. Videos.
@issadad still doing it. It's great to share
