Honestly so impressed by how much charm and personality she’s managed to fit into this little space. So many smart choices, like the round dining table, the storage sofa, and the huge mirror on the dresser.

She's done such a good job of decorating and arranging her furniture that even with only one window, the dark brick wall, the dark wood furniture, and the large armoire, the apartment doesn't look overcrowded and dark. It looks so homey and comfortable...it's the only one-room (aside from kitchen) apartment I've ever seen that I could see myself living in and being happy in.
That storage sofa ... Wow! That was an awesome find.

How preciously she designed her tiny apartment. I can tell in her eyes how she misses her mom & I can feel she’s made her mom proud. The way she utilized every space, so smart. Love how she put the books in the fireplace & up on the shelf. Cool chair ladder &the way she hung up the shoes in the Armoire so clever! Her great grandmother’s chair in the corner oh my God I love that looks so cozy! What a lovely young lady.

I also live in a 200 sq ft studio and got some great inspiration from this! She didn’t mention it, but the mirrored surfaces near the window also help to bring more sunlight in.

Wow! It's absolutely amazing how she pulled everything together so perfectly. Her space, although small, gave me the impression that I was looking at just one room in a large victorian home. And to have found the picture that her mom had drawn was the icing on the cake. Loved it!💖💖💖
What a beautiful space and that brick wall, too. She has such a good eye and I love what she did with the books. The family items were so neat -- love the back stories behind things. She seems like such a sweet person and I wanted to hug her when she was talking about her mom, who she lost young.

While I always think I would be claustrophobic in such small spaces, that apartment is so adorable and feminine! It has such heart and personality! This young lady has done a beautiful job of making it homey and sweet. And the sentimental objects that she has included makes it even more lovely.

Omg, this is BEST studio tour I’ve ever seen! 🙌✨😍 I also live in a studio with only one window and am forever rearranging furniture to get use of the window. Finally, an answer that will work beautifully for me! A reading nook! I’m putting my one chair and a small table there today!! 🥰

This was pretty cute and interesting. One of the things I have noticed about small living is the priority each individual has. For example....the armoir of shoes. That wouldn't be my priority for space, but I also think it is important to do what works best for you! ❤️

This is just too small. This is the size of my bedroom. I would not be comfortable having company.

The armoire ,painted bed frame ,red brick wall ,wooden furniture make this small space a work of art. We have the same taste -good.
I hope she has some aunts . I too lost my mother when I was a young adult and it helps to have aunts when your mother is gone.
The price for the space is horrifying but she has done a beautiful job with it. That chair/ladder thing is genius.
More horrifying: that’s actually cheap for the Upper West Side. It’s a very expensive neighborhood. Most of the city is now. The building is probably not that great, no doorman to receive packages, possibly no laundry in the building either, dirty and old.

Every portion of her apartment is functional as well as beautiful and pleasing to the eye. The full bed and bedstead instead of a tiny cot is quite impressive as well as esthetically attractive as I am a bed lounger type person due to Covid infections and aging issues.

Love the antique furniture and plants against the brick wall! So glad nobody painted it! Looks comfy and cozy without being too cluttered. I also like hanging stuff on kitchen walls. Glad you didn't let movers talk you into moving the bookshelf. The kitchen isn't large enough for two anyway. TFS

It's so nice to see a tiny home that is not all modern, right angles, and stark surfaces. This is homey and cozy and very pretty. It would be completely impossible for most disabled people, especially those of us who use wheels, but for a young, abled person, it's got everything she needs: a functional kitchen, a proper bathroom, privacy, and beauty.

I love the use of vintage and antique pieces, especially in those medium wood tones. They're a bit harder to work with, but she did great.

I love this space with simple oak tables and shelves, pretty white linens, plants etc. IKEA has a fold down dish rack she might like, which I use in tiny space, but appreciate the hanging baskets for fruits. Her spaces are very old English and charming.
I’m impressed by how much stuff she has in that tiny spot - she has waaayyy more shoes than I do, in about a fifth of the square footage!
And so nice you have many things to remind you of your Mom and feel her memory there with you.
