+yustenite Hi Thanks for the comment. I buy the complete rebuilt FEG module from FEI (p/n . It is expensive but reliability and lifetime is good (>2 years). I know you can rebuild the FEG by just replacing the source like you mention. I would like to know the technique for doing that. Maybe someone with experience can comment and enlighten us.
