did you use a backend server? I am trying to make an mobile app for an intrusion detection system. I want to use a messaging protocol to send and receive data from the server to the client. Is this video something to follow to help with that?
You can setup a button clicklistener which can trigger the data fetching. You need to be careful to limit the fetching to a single fetch to avoid memory issues
