When I play co-ed, I do not block the girl players. (I am 6'10 and they already struggle on the co-ed height net)
We block them because we were playing on women's height. They are also strong hitters so we can't rely on the back line.

Great video, just a friendly tip. try being earlier on your block position and jump with the outside hitters timing, then there wil be no gap in the block and you will score more points. succes in the future

13:56 rules question: when a back row hitter hits the ball, does the ball need to be behind the line or does he need to jump from behind the line?
The jump needs to be behind the line. If the person is enough of a monster, they could jump far enough and hit a normal set. The problem was that I stepped over the line while jumping to hit.

What rules are being used on this club? I saw the ball hit the roof and it wasn't called out. If it's more recreational, that's understandable. In my high school club I'm running right now I let people server again if their first server went out or hit the net, and we rarely count net touches unless it's a heavy net touch. But roof is always out for us. FIVB vs USA rules or something.
If a teammate receives the ball and it touches the roof (while still on your side) the ball is still in play. If the ball touches the roof while passing over the net, it is out, and the other team gets the point. Since this group is meant for intermediate and above we call everything (net touches, stepping on the service line, double touches, lifts, and reaching over the net when the setter is setting the ball).

How tall are you? Im 5’6 and i love spiking but i have my doubts when it comes to playing volleyball at official heights which is like 8.5ft i think? Just wanted your opinion if u think its possible for me to spike at that height
