Hello Margriet, I found you on your Christmas bells video and subscribed immediately. Love your work and style. Keep it up girl, you’re an inspiration.
I really enjoyed watching your videos, they have souch a beautiful and calming energy I find so inspiring! I started doing ceramics and really love it. So glad I ran into your profile, keep creating and sharing it with us! Greetings from Croatia
Thanks for sharing. I've recently fallen in love with clay and making pottery. My journey with clay began 2 years ago. I started regular classes at a studio. Last year i began to bring home pieces to complete. That's when i decided i needed to set up my own work area. I am able to create at my home now. I learn loads from TH-cam, getting inspired by all the wonderful people sharing their craft.
Hi Margaret …. Congratulations and thank you for sharing your love for simplicity and beauty …. I am 2 years into clay, handbuilding and 71 years old … yes you inspire me to start sharing too … and not look for perfection ….
Thank you🙏🏻! So lovely to read this. Lots of fun with your pottery journey! And please share; you could (will!) be an inspiration for people that are just starting with clay. Especially women in their 50, 60, 70’s who want to try clay as a hobby. And there are a lot of them, trust me! Enjoy😘
Margriet I love your pieces. Please share your work, as well as the techniques you use. Your style is inspiring and beautiful. Post whenever you can, thank you for your generosity. Kisses from Rose, Brazil
Thank you! Found your videos from my front page. Love your thinking of doing your own way - that my way too. Looking forward seeing more! Greetings from Finland 🇫🇮
Really cute little cups! I've always been worried how the seems would look if I print on the clay, but actually it looks fine. I'll have a go, thanks. Lovely video, thanks for sharing your work.
That’s so great to hear! I’m glad you feel inspired to try it that way. I think showing the seam can add character to the piece, and it doesn’t always need to be perfect. Have fun!
Thank you so much for asking! I don’t make my own glazes. I’m all about keeping things simple! I only use three glazes: a glossy white, a matte white, and a transparent gloss, which I buy ready-made here in the Netherlands. Glaze-making can get quite scientific, and I’m not naturally inclined that way, so I’m happy sticking to these commercial glazes that work beautifully for my pieces. Thanks again for watching and for your kind words!
Thank you! I use the STTC 02 1200°C - 1280°C shiny white. I don’t know if it’s available outside Europe but if you go for a common shiny white glaze suitable for stoneware I’m sure you get a similar result. Good luck!
such a beautiful video: energy, process, approach! thank you so much for sharing! I subscribed and now I'm a fan of your work : ) I would love to see one about making the stamps as well if you need ideas for future videos.
Thank you so much! That’s so kind of you! I’m definitely planning to make a video about making stamps. And I’m always open to suggestions and ideas! Love to hear them.
Here are the measurements: rectangle 25 cm x 10 cm (9,7 inch x 4 inch), diameter bottom 7,6 cm (3 inch). I'll add it to the description as well. Thank you for the reminder!
Thank you for creating this video and your inspirational words 🙏 I’ve been struggling to learn using the wheel and have found hand moulding easier. Your video has sparked inspiration for what’s possible using just your hands 🙌 . Beautiful mug 💕 and keep creating ✨
Thank you so much! This is exactly why I make my videos. I’m so glad to hear they inspire you. I also find handbuilding a more relaxed way to work with clay, so I’m glad it helps. Keep enjoying the process!

So lovely! Keep up the videos!
What a beauty.... really nice
If you ran the stamp up the seam vertically it would compliment the rest of the stamping and maybe add a bit of interest to the seamline?
Great tip! Thanks🙏🏻
Very nice 👍 thank you
I’m excited to try this and to make my own stamps! Thank you for creating these lovely videos. Do you mix your own glazes?

Heel mooie mokken.
Ze stralen landelijkheid en rust uit.
De grove klei komt prachtig uit en de glazuur zit mooi in het relief.
❤ it.
Superbedankt!
@@studiolukkili graag gedaan
Me encanta, consulta, es gres de 1230? Como haces la pasta tan negra? Gracias por tu enseñanza, desde 🇦🇷 Argentina
Thank you! Yes stoneware. I stoke up till 1200 celsius. The color of the clay is a dark brown chocolate.
Thanks for sharing, I was wondering what size the pattern is for these handmade cups?
Here are the measurements: rectangle 25 cm x 10 cm (9,7 inch x 4 inch), diameter bottom 7,6 cm (3 inch). I'll add it to the description as well. Thank you for the reminder!
I like them too. Sometimes one needs a break from the wheel.
Gorgeous cups indeed!!! Margriet, could you share the thickness you roll the clay out? Is it 0,5 or 1 cm? Thanks in advance, Sibylle🙏
Thank you, Sibylle! Thickness I roll the clay out in this video is 0,7 cm.
Thank you! Have a beautiful day! ❤
