Dad has been in court countless times with this irresponsible mother. If she changed her job to make a lower wage or work less hours post-schooling, that's on her. The court can, and should, impute her income on what they count as full-time based on her historical earning capability. Let her get a PT gig so that she can make up the difference. But no, Nelson will let her work less* and pay less, then her child will not be supported as she should be while mom starts making more at her new job after training, which forces dad to bring another motion for recalculation ... which we can count on Nelson 'setting over' at least three more times before ordering. This dad has been through the ringer with this mom *_and_* this court. It's been frustrating to watch. [*giving her more time with her criminal boyfriend, who she's chosen to stay with even though it's preventing her from seeing her child]
Commissioner Nelson made it very clear at about 40:30 what the law is on this -- namely, assume 32 hours -- and said that he'd do the calculation based on her new wage of $16/hr once he saw a pay-slip to verify the rate AND that the new level of child-support would be retroactive. What more are you wanting a commissioner (who cannot rule on disputed facts) to do?
This Commissioner is clueless when it comes to decorum. You gotta see the one where he handled several cases, all the while with someone laying in a bed with a close-up on her snoozing face for the entire docket. There were maybe three or four Zoom windows on-screen, so everyone could see this person clear as day. It was ridiculous.

Many times I find this court system have let many children down and eventually having the children put in danger. Its the job of GAL to investigate the claims of this complaint and verify. The mother can say anything, it doesn’t she’s saying the truth. !! 😢🤬🤬
One thing I’m learning from watching child support cases, TRO/TPO cases, civil court, divorce court, is that you have got to be your own advocate, because it’s scary how broken and siloed the system as a whole is, and nearly criminal how incompetent some judges are. And you need to be _meticulous_ and detailed with paperwork and dates, otherwise the broken system/incompetent judge lets it slip through the cracks or pushes it off to yet another hearing.
In dealing with the government in any way shape or form, you must keep record of all dates, names and times, and if possible employee numbers. I fought for two years to gain disability benefits, having to speak to several government branches, and as tedious as it was, I made that a policy. That and copying any correspondence that is mailed off. It makes for a much stronger case, in some situations they bank on the public not keeping record!
I Was stuck in custody battle through the courts for 10 years. And this is what I learned, If you don't have proof than it didn't happen. If you don't want child support to be Taken/given to any party, then deal with your custody Matters out of the court. they make money on those payments so you have no choice. The percentage that is taken from the child support payments goes to the judge's retirement. I know many people who refuse to be apart of the many ppl who pays the court ppl their salary by handling their kids outta court.

Her friends have them and she can only talk to her friends that way. This is a horrible example of a mother. Choosing a convict over her daughter. Letting her daughter be exposed on social media. A huge issue is single mothers letting everybody they meet, date to interact with their children. The fact it has to be said is a bigger issue. It should be common sense. It is so damaging and selfish.

I was divorced when my son was 4. I never brought another man around him. I had my fun when he was with his dad. My son didn't need a dad, he had one, and too many instances of men who abuse their girlfriend's children. Most importantly, my mother always told me to be able to support myself. I made sure I had a vocation that would support me so I never had to depend on someone else for that. It should be emphasized that girls need to get an education, be it 4 year college or vocational school, and be able to support themselves. I have seen so many women tell their girls that they need to snag a good husband, look good to attract a man, etc. Such a harmful mindset. Girls, be able to support yourself. Be able to live alone and not be afraid of every bump in the night. You can have a full and happy life without a man around, especially a bad man.
Mom needs to be working FULL time get two jobs if you have to she IS NOT in school or taking care of her child there are 168 hours a week only working 20 some is BULL.

Just simply not true common sense for children isn't the same as adults. Hense why they're children and cannot make adult choices. It takes 2seconds for children to delete and hide things from parents esp on an app like tiktok. It's highly inappropriate for children to be on social media you're giving strangers access to your child for your child to share photos and images from themselves. There's no need for it it's shown to be addictive and bad for mental health and no reason to introduce it early into a child's life. When they're grown they can decide if and what choices they want to make about their online presence. They arnt old enough to understand the consequences having an online presence can have in the future. Mother stated in court she was removing certain videos from the child's tic tok. Claims she cannot close out the account, as she was told to do. If you can delete some videos you can delete them all, and you would have access to the channel. She should have been severely fined and threatened with jail for non compliance. If mom could log into that account, couldn't she change the listed phone number so then the code when get sent to the new number. They are smart enough to know people change phone numbers and would have a way in "settings" to do that.
Not how it works. Cant just change the number linked to the recovery. There’s usually a two step verification involved. She should have a save key from when she started the account but she’s lying anyway
Classic case of putting a deadbeat boyfriend before your child. You have no obligations and should be working however many jobs it takes to support your child. Heck I had custody and worked 50+ hours a week, Yes my ex was a deadbeat Dad, who couldn’t wrap his head around paying child support and worked under the table. I eventually sued him for his back support and got all of it. Course that was after nine years.

The Guardian AL gave that information to the last judge. Eleven charges against her bf Vince. Domestic violence against ex gf. Also death threats, stalking, cyberstalking of ex and another person. I’m suspicious of any person who thinks these types of behaviors are acceptable. The mother is unstable. The GAL is a neutral party for the best interest of the child. The gal doesn’t even trust the mother to talk to child without supervision. The mother would have to be pretty questionable for that to be the case. The GAL has a lot of experience with this mother and her behavior.

Just simply not true common sense for children isn't the same as adults. Hense why they're children and cannot make adult choices. It takes 2seconds for children to delete and hide things from parents esp on an app like tiktok. It's highly inappropriate for children to be on social media you're giving strangers access to your child for your child to share photos and images from themselves. There's no need for it it's shown to be addictive and bad for mental health and no reason to introduce it early into a child's life. When they're grown they can decide if and what choices they want to make about their online presence. They arnt old enough to understand the consequences having an online presence can have in the future. It's not a boomer take either lol alot of ppl who feel this way are younger parents who were victims of predators on the internet when we were kids. Of course common sense was told to me when I was a kid don't talk to strangers ect. But I was a child... and dumb as were many other people and kids love and want attention. It's dangerous and there's absolutely no need for it. Kids can take photos/videos and use technology ect. Without publishing it and creating an online persona that can follow them for the rest of their lives. The internet is forever.
I dont think I've ever seen this female judge make a "mother" pay her fair share of child support but she sure makes the dad do it! I've seen way too many bitter mothers using our courts as weapons of revenge on these fathers!
AND the courts need to make access so that the judge can view any and every thing on social media!!!!!!!

He has a Judge who drags out everything, another 2 weeks, another 30 days. His child's Mother is selfish idiot. She can't be bothered to strap her child into the car , or learn how. Refuses to contact tiktok. Cares more about having a man no matter how dangerous and stupid. 🙄It's exhausting just to watch.

Mother stated in court she was removing certain videos from the child's tic tok. Claims she cannot close out the account, as she was told to do. If you can delete some videos you can delete them all, and you would have access to the channel. She should have been severely fined and threatened with jail for non compliance. This judge is so weak.
The poor kids! These mothers are so piss poor they know how to game the system- these judges are pitiful also. Watching these explains why so many kids are just pawns in the game.

This is so very frustrating to watch. The judge has a very monotone way of speaking and she does nothing about the contempt charges. The mom was supposed to delete her tik tok account but hasn't and says she can't. She's obviously lying yet all the judge does is give her another 30 days to do so. WTH? It seems the mom can actually do whatever she wants and although she's racked up a few hundred dollars in charges who knows if she even has to pay those. And she doesn't seem affected by it and that's because she doesn't get in trouble for her actions. Very irritated with this judge.
If mom could log into that account, couldn't she change the listed phone number so then the code when get sent to the new number. They are smart enough to know people change phone numbers and would have a way in "settings" to do that.
Not how it works. Cant just change the number linked to the recovery. There’s usually a two step verification involved. She should have a save key from when she started the account but she’s lying anyway
Classic case of putting a deadbeat boyfriend before your child. You have no obligations and should be working however many jobs it takes to support your child. Heck I had custody and worked 50+ hours a week, Yes my ex was a deadbeat Dad, who couldn’t wrap his head around paying child support and worked under the table. I eventually sued him for his back support and got all of it. Course that was after nine years.

This judge sucks. She has no idea what is going on, obviously she read very little of the filings and orders to get up to date and she is extremely weak with this lady.....
This commissioner is always way too lenient in my opinion. I have seen several cases where she has given wayyyy too much time and too many chances to correct potentially dangerous behaviors.

Although mom is a mess the court system clearly is too. She was not in contempt for the videos in the previous hearing & I also believe that TikTok is likely very hard to contact for customer service. Commissioner clearly read the order saying that the videos need to be removed & if that’s not possible the account taken down, mom said she removed the videos. She didn’t even try to advocate for herself after that. Anyway, I guess all for the better because she needs to stop & put her children first.

Nelson is horrible at his job. He keeps resetting matters instead of resolving. The fact that Mom has not paid any child support and take an underpaying job at part-time is on her. I've seen where they ordered parents to go get a second job because of this. Insane. Not to mention the fact that Mom has chosen her, who seems to be a total loser, over her child

Getting CONTEMPT OF COURT charges/fines doesn’t seem to phase her even a little. I’d probably be a nervous wreck to know that I was in contempt of a court order. Losing custody of a child would wreck me. Where is the emotion in her.

That's the stupidest comment I ever heard. If a doctor had a piercing like that and you needed to be resuscitated I doubt you would say there unfit. A piercing, hair color, or tattoo does not influence your ability to parent a child. The choices you make concerning the welfare of that said child influences fitness to parent.

The Guardian AL gave that information to the last judge. Eleven charges against her bf Vince. Domestic violence against ex gf. Also death threats, stalking, cyberstalking of ex and another person. The judge ordered that the mother was not to have this guy around at any time that she is having visitation. It's her decision whether to follow courts orders or not. There will be consequences.
I have a problem with ANY WOMAN putting a man before her child.
I’m suspicious of any person who thinks these types of behaviors are acceptable. The mother is unstable. The GAL is a neutral party for the best interest of the child. The gal doesn’t even trust the mother to talk to child without supervision. The mother would have to be pretty questionable for that to be the case. The GAL has a lot of experience with this mother and her behavior.
The mom is a pos, but the order was NOT to delete the social media accounts UNLESS the video was not removed as ordered. The GAL should get her facts straight.
