Overland Park and Johnson County will change a person. I had a friend who moved there and she decided she was going to be one of the Joneses. She's evidently "elevated" now.
Overland Park= high cost of living, high taxes, bad traffic, rude people, horrible weather, and terrible for single people (entire Kansas City metro area).
As a young professional I enjoy living in OP. I have a 10 minute commute to work. It’s CLEAN, safe (most of the crime comes from KCMO in my opinion), and has great infrastructure. I’d rather live in Kansas and drive to the “Fun” in Missouri then actually live in Missouri. We have higher taxes but I would argue that we get what we pay for. We have amazing streets and parks. I know where my tax dollars are going. 🤷🏽♂️

Thanks for your comment, everyone has their opinions. I would argue that it's the #1 spot here. I mean it's honestly has everything.

We agree, overland Park is actually our favorite city!
Yeah that’s because all the jobs are leaving kcmo due to crime. Kcmo walks to work the same amount as Overland Park.
The worst thing in OP is rude, rude people.
Customer service sucks, lives in Seattle before.
Thanks for sharing! From what we have seen it has mostly been nice people but maybe you had a bad experience.
