If anyone is interested, I just uploaded a Beginner's Guide for Lobo. Stop on by if you're looking to learn this character. I certainly have a lot of fun with him. He's able to pull off 50% damage combos with only 2 meter burns.
I love how Lobo's back away is him going "Come at me bro!" Now if they would just announce a 'Teen Titans' DLC with Starfire, Beastboy and Ravager as the characters with Titans Tower as the map...my life would be COMPLETE
Yes. The season pass only comes with the 4 DLC characters + the Flashpoint skins for Wonder Woman, Aquaman, and Deathstroke. The only other free costumes you get are the ones that come with the compatibility update (for Lobo's update, you got Flashpoint Batman).
Glad to see one of my top 5 all-time favorite DC villains getting some justice. Kinda wish they did a lobo vs. deathstroke match for his reveal though.
I'm glad Babs (Batgirl) is getting in. the last time we got to play as her was Rise of Sin Tsu back in 2003, which wasn't horrible...but it was 10 years ago. she'll be my main for sure. now to get Martian Manhunter and Blue Beetle.
Martian Manhunter is in the game as a playable character. You have to beat all battle modes with every character to unlock. Took me and a bunch of friends forever to do it, but we finally unlocked him.

The most often requested characters are Martian Manhunter, Black Canary, Powergirl, Black Manta, and Captain Cold. If Zod gets in, then it won't be because of fan requests. It'll be because of him being the villain in Man Of Steel.

Yet, not a lot of people asked for Batgirl and people complained when her trailer came out and she's seen online much more often than Lobo is. I mean within the first few days of her release, I had already came across her more than I ever did Lobo.
NetherRealms should think big on this game, like full packages of new characters, like Darkside, Brainiac, SuperBoy, Mr. Freeze, just go through the DC heroes and villains roster and give us as much you can develop (I'm sure there will be lot's of people willingly to pay for these packages). And make Martian Manhunter your first priority.
Fair enough. -nod- I wouldn't mind seeing some 'differences' in the way fighting game rosters are made. Like how Super Smash Brothers added Snake and Sonic, and how Soul Calibur and Mortal Kombat added Kratos myself. To be honest, the ideal fighting game for me is a Marvel vs DC game. It will be some time before it happens.

The franchise is not all, it's classic. Plus as far as video games go it has alot going on for it as of late with the Arkham games. And I like how you love the Punisher and yet hate Jason since they have some things in common.
Martian Manhunter has to be the next DLC. He's one of the founders of the original Justice League. How can he not be playable already? He'd be so fun to play as with all his abilities. Just think of the potential.

It's more accurate to say that Deadpool is Marvel's Deathstroke. Which I believe Liefeld patterned the character after. Even their names are incredibly similar. Slade (Deathstroke) and Wade (Deadpool) Wilson.
Tsung can only morph into the opponent in MK9, he still has the problem. BB's case is worse, because they would actually have to create each of the animals while Tsung uses graphics that are already there. And yes, it is comparable to Captain Marvel, which is why when I heard he was in the game I went "Really? Captain Rip off again?", though at least MK vs DC put much more emphasis into his electricity powers, averting it to some extent.
Batman has a fanbase way before the Nolan films (which were not as good as they should have been) and what is important is here and now, and now it's Todd's time to shine.
Shang Tsung's transformations were fairly seamless in mk9 and armageddon; and starfire wouldn't be a Supes clone any more than Shazam would. she has energy projectiles and much more cosmic-based attacks. and come on; you have to admit seeing beast boy's powers in-game would be epic. personally im hoping for a tyranosarus rex super move if he somehow makes it in.

Bringing Scorpion isn't the same effect as bringing in Freddy. Freddy had never been in a fighting game before and it was the first time people could ever play as him. We've been playing as Scorpion in this genre for two decades now. We already know what he's gonna do. It's just gonna be with Injustice mechanics. Plus MK9 was a reboot of the first 3 games and each character that mattered was already in. Whereas there are hundreds of DC characters that could be used and had never been in a FG
We have DC to thank for that. Batman has gotten so much exposure that's mainly what casuals know from DC. And people can be pretty narrow minded when it comes to characters they don't know getting in games based on comic books.
They won't add Darkseid, in this video you can tell alone because he was added as a stage asset. You wouldn't be able to have darkseid transported to darkseids worlds and blowing himself up.
Rumors are after lobo the next 3 dlc characters might be batgirl, general zod and scorpion, if that is the case I will be very disappointed. Lobo is cool, we should either have blue beetle, beast boy, dark seid, red lantern atrocitus, firestorm, star sapphire, martian man hunter. Zod would be too similar to superman, shazam, and black adam. that would be 4 superman types so i could do without zod unless they prove us wrong with very unique abilities, which i highly doubt.
I agree with the people who say Blue Beetle and Brainiac, Blue Beetles name is shown in Deathstroke's outro along with others I'll post a video soon about it.
I wish Booker DeWitt (Bioshock Infinite) or Corvo Attano (Dishonored) as DLC. I know it is impossible due to rights, but the character models can be easily drawn in game (all 3 games were developed on Unreal 3). Plus (PS Spoiler Alert) due to Bioshock Infinite "beep" Booker will easily fit into the game.

Beast Boy mattered in the comics. The Titans Blackest Night stuff was mostly about him.
Rumors are after lobo the next 3 dlc characters might be batgirl, general zod and scorpion, if that is the case I will be very disappointed. Lobo is cool, we should either have blue beetle, beast boy, dark seid, red lantern atrocitus, firestorm, star sapphire, martian man hunter. Zod would be too similar to superman, shazam, and black adam. that would be 4 superman types so i could do without zod unless they prove us wrong with very unique abilities, which i highly doubt.

I wish Booker DeWitt (Bioshock Infinite) or Corvo Attano (Dishonored) as DLC. I know it is impossible due to rights, but the character models can be easily drawn in game (all 3 games were developed on Unreal 3). Plus (PS Spoiler Alert) due to Bioshock Infinite "beep" Booker will easily fit into the game.
Batgirl is the next DLC character, she got some awesome moves :D
