I took a tour of the African Renaissance Monument, the tallest building in Africa. 52 meters/170.6 feet high, it towers over the capital city, Dakar. #Senegal #Ouakam #Travel #AfricanAmerican
@@GlobeThotting If English is your primary language, that might be an issue. The hotel will likely recommend someone that is conversant. I used google translate a lot & found when you go to “tourist” areas, you were more apt to find an English speaker and a guide. I know it sounds unorthodox but it worked for me.
Please like, share, and subscribe. Comments are welcome too 😆
Gambia simply stunning 😊
I was in Senegal 🇸🇳 for this. One day I might make it to the Gambia 😇.
Africa looks beautiful
It was! Do you plan to visit anytime soon?
Beautiful …!!!
Thanks Lena 🙏🏽
I will be in Dakar in August. I never knew you could go inside.
Just seeing your comment 😆. Yes you can go inside. It's also best to pay the small fee to get a tour guide as I did.
@@myjourneytoo, don't hotels usually recommend a guide? I want to spend money with a local instead of Viator.

That thing was huge. Got my out of shape self up those stairs to see it 🤣
Too funny 😂...those stairs got you. I can’t laugh too much. I would’ve been stopping too!
IKR 😅
Made you wonder about the Collosus of Rhodes.
I’ve never been there. I bet it’s spectacular.
@@myjourneytoo Destroyed in an earthquake years ago This monument is the cat's meow.🐱
@@Zzsmuf This shaky video of mine doesn’t do it justice 🤣
@@myjourneytoo It's still a nice video 😉

How does it feel to get in someone's head 😉
