    Well done. Thank you.
    I am also looking at the thinking process. Difficult task.

    If I say that the core distinction between Bergson's dualism and Decartes Dualism is that Bergson replaces Substance with process, will it be correct?

    • @absurdbeing2219
      @absurdbeing2219  11 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      Yes. I think I could get behind that. He replaces _two_ substances with a _single_ process which yields two aspects (that are nevertheless different in kind, hence dualistic).

      @@absurdbeing2219 In the first place, it should be noted that the attribution of different meanings to the terms 'astrology' and 'astronomy' is relatively
      recent; the two words were used synonymously by the Greeks to
      denote the whole ground now covered by both. It would seem at
      first sight then that we have here another instance of one of those
      divisions caused by 'specialization' between what originally_ were
      simply parts of a single science. But there is a certain difference in
      this case, for whereas one of the parts, namely that representing the
      more material side of the science in question, has taken on an independent development, the other has on the contrary entirely disappeared. A measure of the truth of this lies in the fact that it is no
      longer known today what ancient astrology may have been, and
      that even those who have tried to reconstruct it have managed to
      create nothing more than parodies of it. - This paragrpah is form rene guenon's book.

      Never heard of Project Hindsight ? All the original ancient Greek texts recovered, translated, and grasped metaphysically by the scholar Robert Schmidt? It's based on a language model. I don't "believe" in Dane Rudyar's approach either. It's pathetic. It's embarrassing even. It's no wonder it's not taken seriously. He reinvented astrology according to psychology... based on the rags and tatters that still exists. But things changed the last 20 years. Now, saying you don't believe in astrology is like saying you don't believe in English, or mathematics or music. Literally. The timing methods make this abundantly obvious; clockwork. Greek astrology originated in the classical era. You may have heard of Plato's Timaeus. Or the Cratylus? A man named Eudoxus who named the constellations and encoded the mathematical ratios of the Sun and moon? Why? Save the Appearances, my friend.
