  • 💭 It's always a treat to ride new motorcycles ESPECIALLY a motorcycle similar to a V-Rod Muscle. The New 2022 Harley Nightster may not be the Bronx that may wanted, but it definitely improves on what Sportster and V-Rod started. I was lucky to ride Nightster with fellow creators and Harley Davidson engineers to really find out how this motorcycle performs.

Yeah, it’s a bit different from a motovlog. I always forget things I want to say when motovlogging or standing near the bike in the moment. My brain doesn’t work the best that way. I have to write down everything I’m thinking and relay it back.

The Nightster and Sportster S weigh 80 and 50 pounds less, respectively, than the Diavel. They also weigh less than the Scout... This is a great video, Brandon, and a great bike!

@@BrandonBicasso Diavel is a whole another Animal and much more expensive. It still has the rear brake fade as the rear master cylinder heats up + it’s not very happy at slow speed+ those small parts like indicators etc looks cheap import from China.

Hi Brandon, you have two of my favourite bikes. Unfortunately the V-Rod is financially impossible to purchase here in Australia, however the 109's are plentiful and not as expensive as the V-Rod, which are in the $20-30,000. My friends have bought the Victory Cruisers which looks like massive armchairs on wheels. You're living the dream mate. Happy riding.

I own the Nightster and yes it is a great bike. It had some initial no start problems caused by defective handlebar control modules. New modules and an ECU update corrected the problem. My only complaints are the SPORT mode is too abrupt (I now ride in ROAD mode) and in order to replace the spark plugs it is a 2.25 service hour job to remove the fake tank, air filter and the cylinder heads to gain access to the spark plugs. Hopefully, Harley Davidson will have an iridium plug available as this procedure is a definite budget buster.

The Rogue 60 is the bike that sings to me. I dont even want the full size motor scout, just the 60 cuz it's just right for me. The wheels, handlebars and light scowl just make the bike look and feel exactly how I want. I will add a usb charger, led headlight and some Dean speed rampage pipes with quiet baffles and be set to ride off into freedom. I am 39 and my dad getting cancer and dog of 16 years dying really put life into perspective for me and made me realize we only have 1 life and it's short. First of all, this old white man (70) has watched many videos on the 975 Nightster, and YOURS is one of the BEST. Thank you for doing it.
I have to ride a trike these days (TriGlide) due to my wife's many health issues). We had our trike in for a warrenty repair when I saw my first Nightster, I really like the looks of it. I would love to own one, but I would add the long haul package(remember I'm OLD) and a luggage rack with a round leather top bag for the luggage rack (I've been spoiled by the top trunk on the TriGlide).
There are a few things I don't like on the Nightster, one is the way the seat comes up to refuel. To me it would make more sense to have the seat flip up from the right side of the bike. This was when you dismount, most do it fom the left side, and insert the key(on the left side) the seat would flip up out of the way. The way it is now you have to drag the filler hose over the seat and down to the filler cap. If the seat flipped up the other way it would be out of the way and much easier to refuel .
Secondly, I have been thumbing starter buttons since the 60's. I think the starter button belongs on the lower part of the four way flasher button.
Thirdly, I don't care for that huge radiator. I think it would look much better with a taller more narrow radiator.
I know you didn't engineer the bike, niteher did I, these are just my thoughts. Thank you again for a very good video on the 875 Nightster. Ride safe, and enjoy every journey.

Not wrong at all. Rebel is in there too along with Ducati Scrambler. Someone else asked and I said suspension is better on Nightster. Tech package of course but you’re paying more without considering all the customizations that will be available. Rogue feels better on longer rides and that motor is great too. Nightster feels faster and the higher redline and weight advantage makes it hella quick. I’d be torn on which one to pick money aside because they have pros/cons the other doesn’t. More people fit on Rogue out the box too.

Scout is more comfortable in the seating but the suspension is better on Nightster. Power delivery feels like more is there on Nightster too. Scout feels more comfortable on a longer rider. Chief is overall the most comfortable but doesn’t have the top end like Nightster or Scout or that higher rev limit. Many ways to look at it.

I just picked one up last weekend. Did you notice the excessive heat coming off the bike? I’ve ridden both the sportster s and pan am, but I was unprepared for how hot the Nightster gets.
