I disagree. As someone that is bi polar and has suffered from bad depression since childhood, Delighter is therapeutic for me. It's nice hearing music that helps you feel, even on your darkest, most numb days, and on other days, when you are a mess, when you lost your best friend, you have this music to listen to, to comfort you with it's deep feels. Obviously this may not work for others, but Daughter isn't dangerous for me. If anything, music like this has LITERALLY saved my life. Also, I know your comment is 2 years old...but hey, I thought I'd weigh in anyway.

And when I'm writing, working, or drawing and need inspiration, Daughter inspires me. Music has literally saved my lives many times, and Daughter gets big credit for that. People say Daughter is depressing, and it makes me wonder if they even know what depression is. Being depressed isn't about feeling sad from a song. Being depressed is so much more than that. Does it worsen other people's depressions? I don't know, but Daughter doesn't hurt me, doesn't worsen mine.
Agreed. Daughter definitely made me feel less alone and adrift through the loss of a close friend and the loss of a pregnancy - plus they did the soundtrack to one of my favorite games, which I also find therapeutic

Last I heard they were indeed working on one, but that was like 2, 3, maybe even 4 years ago when I heard about that, and it was def. before the pandemic. I wonder if the pandemic delayed things or something, idk… But they haven’t released an album since 2016, which is 5 years agoooo… and they are literally my favorite group in the world 🥺🥺🥺 Haha sorry I can be a bit dramatic when it comes to matters such as these 😅
