Bands like this are a hidden treasure. I never heard of these guys, yet about a week ago I somehow came across them. Now I am addicted to them. It makes me wonder how many other bands this incredible are hidden away from me waiting to be discovered lol.
I can feel her brokenness as she sings "Smother". I felt the same, I was always "too much" for him. I gave my everything and it hurt me. I get attached too quickly and have a deep fear of abandonment instilled in me. "Sometimes I wish I stayed inside my mother, never to come out", I've tried to take my own life before, and I often have dark thoughts. I'm working on it more now. Life's funny sometimes, and it's finally getting better now. I used to believe I didn't deserve to be happy. That I'll always be hurting and scared. I feel grateful to be alive. I love life and I have learnt how to really appreciate it more now. Whoever's reading this, I'm sending you love. Stay safe friend

yesssss, i love dead silence = when the audience is quietly really listening = respectfully, deep and almost "religiously", yes quite very seldom ,yes indeed . Pretty sure that i've sometimes experienced this in my numerous Marillion gigs, but probably other artists also...Very true with Daughter, hope they'll keep on having success with that kind of beautiful soft calm atmospheres, though i could enjoy some less quiet moments, they stll have my preferences...cheers.

We discovered them on June 12th in Toronto 2016 as well, then saw them again at Osheaga, then in Toronto again November 16 and I met Elena after :) She is such a lovely person!
Proof that less is more when it comes to art. It's astonishing to me that such a young band has put out two LPs, a couple of EPs and some singles and there's not a single bad song on any of them. They make albums that you have to listen to in their entirety or you miss out. I'd sell both my corneas and at least one of my livers to see them in person.

The number of times I've watched this whole video in the last two weeks, it's frightening.
Fossa is my favorite track here, and I keep coming back to it, again and again. This is the definitive performance of it, as far as I can tell.
Fossa creates such an ethereal atmosphere I just can't think of a better song to wrap up their incredible show. This is outstanding.
Indeed, the amalgam of Elena's and Igor's guitars with Remi's drums in this song are truly unique.
