Here is an idea, the city should just build a few more courts with existing tax dollars to fulfill resident need. Well... These people are rich enough to pay $100 to use the court every time, especially those pickelball players, so I really don't understand the complaints. You're either a bum or rich if you're living in SF and no bum is playing these two sports. So yeah the fee should stand and it should be higher. Them complaining is like Bill Gates complaining about not having money to buy a happy meal.
It’s a good idea that will decrease no-shows at these courts! I’m glad they decided just to have the fee on courts in the fancy parts of town. Ideally, the fee would be based on someone’s income, but that’s harder to implement…
