Sadly, Keiichiro Toyama left Sony this year. His leave, combined with the fact that the games never sold a whole lot, probably means that Gravity Rush is done for good at this point. The fact that we even got the second game was already unexpected and a real treat. Still, it's a bittersweet goodbye.
Well, he left Sony to create is own studio. And Sony never had real consideration for Gravity Rush... It isn't impossible to hope he can try to buy the right of the series to Sony and continue GR with his studio. It's a frail hope i know...
@@GiordanDiodato I hope so. Considering Microsoft has big dev teams now, nows a good time for Sony to not only make new IPs but bring back old ones like Sly, Jak and Daxter, and hopefully Team Asobi can take reigns on a new Ape Escape
This music is the most calming and nostalgic thing I’ve ever listened to. If I could forget one game and replay it, it would be this one. Absolute masterpiece.
I jusy got back here in my first ever playthrough...my goodness, I love the new arrangement! It really sets the tone of Kat's grand return to home. How did I miss out on this series for so long...
I think this was the point where gravity rush 2 became My favorite game of all time. The first half of the game was so fun I forgot about going home after a bit. and then we got home and… this track hit and I cried. It may sound silly but that execution was perfect. To finally return home. And hear old towns tune again. Thank you gravity rush series. I’ll always tell your story to everyone
Since posting this, I've found out the OST for the Gravity Rush PS4 remaster contains a lot of the tracks that are missing from the GR2 OST on the PSN store.
@@Jaav117 yeah. Read the facts. Its composed by the same guy who did the music for one piece which would explain its mix of various genres of music and the composition feels akin to an anime.
I felt so nostalgic when I heard this again as soon as I reached Hekesville
I got same feel when i was back in Ishimura in dead space 2
So did I!
Same here and I played this game right after finishing the first lmao

@@hunkUC even so if he succeeds then maybe just maybe there is hope. Honestly I am happy the game got to tell its story in two games plus an OVA
@@hunkUC he has a good relationship with Sony so we may see another game.

I will miss this game.

this song feels like home
I love how there's a part in the background footage where they just start kicking people
It's an accomplishment when a game can make you feel nostalgic for something you just experienced.
FOR REAL, this game did just in afew months of playing both 1 & 2
This game is nearly a decade old. Brings back memories of better times. 😭
it is now
Im actually so upset there wont be a 3rd game
These videos of the music and showing the area where they play are really well done. Thanks for sharing them!
I'm still here listening to this. It's very late but I don't care. I also want to say that I'm still hopeful for a third instalment.
I'm home.
Oh god.. 4 years ago..
LIFE ALERT, MY JAW DROPPED AND IT CANT GET UP
the trumpets in this song give me spider-man vibes.
Why am I nostalgic for a song I first heard 3 days ago
why am i cryin in tha club rn
anyone gonna mention how at 2:00 kat kicked that child?
Nostalgic as FUCK man.
Ah, home
I love Gravity Rush so much!!
I want my PS Vita back..
How did you get 47 tracks? The soundtrack on the PSN store only has 15.
Taken from the game itself, it's not all the tracks in there either though.
Well shucks. I guess I'll have to wait for a torrent or something.

This song reminds me of Resonance of Fate/End Of Eternity.Very relaxing, too
apparently Tanaka was co-composer for that game.
Two legendary composers at the helm, no wonder it had a good soundtrack
Somehow it reminds me of Phantasy Star Universe's music.
it sound's so Disney
More like Ghibli's.
More like One Piece....wait....

I heard a theme like this from a Genshin video, so I came back to check on the nostalgia... now I'm thinking it'd be cool if they did a crossover.
