- Everyone's favourite random quality generator KP have made a model of the classic British trainer, the Scottish Aviation Bulldog. I like KP and I like the Bulldog so what could possibly go wrong?!...

I just ordered this yesterday. I've just finished the KP 1/72 Cessna Bobcat which is a 2020 mould. Thank you for this video, I'm looking forward to building mine.
Great video and build. I have real soft spot for KP especially the light aircraft and gliders, their willingness to release kits of less dramatic types is a major strength.
I love little aircraft, they just seem to have more detail and are more pleasure to build for some reason!!!
Hi there, thanks for making this kit - I know now not to bother. It does seem a bit pricey for a very basic kit, that said, I think the one-piece wings should be de-rigueur for 1/72 planes (especially WW1 planes and even more so for tri-planes.)
Keep up the good fight Skipper, it is after all a Public Service you provide. Regards...
A fair review, I think. Like yourself the parts went together well (apart from the rear of the wing/fuselage join which took a lot of sanding but blended well. In my case). One other problem on my model was a slight short shot on the underside engine cowling but a little filler sorted that problem. A little sanding on the wing landing light and the transparency fitted perfectly.
Definitely recommend doing research on colour call outs as you say which is the one thing that lets KP down. All in all though, a fun little kit to build IMO.
Your finished build was a treat to view and looked really lovely (unlike mine. Lol).
I look forward to more of your vids in the future! 👍👍
Was it this boxing or another and which colour did you go for?
@@VFCproductions Different boxing. It was the black and yellow colour scheme on the box. Although I did a different b&y to the scheme on the box cover.
I love these small kits more than massive warplanes. and among all videos on full metal jacket warmodels on youtube, its a relieve feeling a fresh breeze now and then. Thanks for sharing this . No nonses review as allways. Best wishes for the New Year.
Happy new year to you too!
This year will hopefully see more of the unusual kits in my stash feature on the channel
Bought this a couple years back still in my stash … I need a pilot before I build.
Cool 🛩
Erm, faulty memory. It was Airfix. 😊
I’m probably not the first person to say it but this reminds me very much of the ancient 2 colour Matchbox kit
I need a bulldog
The attitude of the model is wrong. Should be tail down. Anyway, the end result is a nice model.
I think it's because the nose leg is too short, which is also what causes the propellers to not sit properly.
