Try to watch the 2006 live action. This was probably the most beautiful ending. L's here is smarter than the original one and the actor did a great job portraying L he looks like L stepped out of the anime and became a real person.
kento yamazaki didn't write L's character in the drama lol. Both are amazing. 2015 drama L is a great character, it's just not the normal L because they put a spin on his character, it was actually well done, unique and refreshing.

The 2015 version didn't capture L's personality that well I'm saying this because I'm honest. I actually watched that drama and came there for Kento (the guy who plays L) and I knew some of the other actors as well such as the guy who plays Light. But it felt like L was emotionless but in my opinion still I prefer the 2015 version but still could be debated with the 2006

As someone who grew up with Death Note since 2006, I disagree. Besides the one in the manga and anime, I prefer Kenichi Matsuyama's L. The 2015 version of L didn't really portray his personality and mannerism, looked too different from the L I know.

In my honest opinion, only kenichi suit and nail L character. And i was hoping the ending in anime will be the same as movie live action,it would be perfect. L finish his case on his own. The anime is very good until L die and N continue the case. The excitement drop on that part. I watch movie live action first,then i watch the anime one back then.. And kenichi is the only person that suit L the most. Character and figure😊
