Para los que vimos la serie "The Thorn Birds", la musica del genial compositor Henry Mancini, fue otro acierto junto con la dirección, actuacion, escenografía, etc., que tuvo ésta gran producción. Él tema de Meggie es una pieza que parecería sencilla y facil de interpretar. Al escucharla en su dimension original con el acompañamiento de orquesta es algo increíblemente bello. Pero al interpretar solo con piano o teclado es otra cosa, porque hay que saber imprimir la emoción, hacer que las notas se escuchen con delicadeza o fuerza dando a su vez un tiempo lento pero constante. Escuche muchas versiones de varios pianistas, la gran mayoria sensacionales. Pero solo ésta interpretación fue capaz de hacerme sentir que habia amor, pasion, ternura, un torrente de emociones que se desbordaban en el teclado a traves de los dedos de un hombre que sentia la música y no solo la leia de una partitura. Without doubt this is the very best version I have ever heard of this beautiful music (and I've listened to absolutely loads now!!) Like your wife, this is my most favourite piece of music too. I simply cannot listen to it without it brings tears to my eyes ... or streaming down my face in this case (in a good way, you understand!) I wish someone could do this for me ... alas, my husband's a builder ...LOL! Thank you, thank you SO much for this X :-)
